Ammunition Supplier Cabela's reviews
16I was trying to buy an electric bike a little over 2,000 and a BB gun a little over 100. Sat in there for over half hour trying to get somebody to wait on me I guess they did not want my money so I'm looking somewhere else. If you need a little help buying something this is not the place to go
Like their store, it's all the exact same stuff as bass pro though, they are thr same store
Great place to shop! You are greeted at the door. Employees are friendly and are helpful with any information you may need. I went in the shoe section and the gentleman there looked online as I can get different shoes there then what are at Cabela's has at the store. He also said there is free shipping if I picked up at the store. Very pleased with my experience. Cannot go wrong shopping here!
Always has what we're wanting and always walk out with alot more. Our cashier is absolutely wonderful!
Only complaint is have trouble finding someone to let me in a dressing room.
Great selection. For the most part, all the products are of quality (exception is kids toys). The animal heads are overwhelming but the centerpiece that names the species is fun for kids.
I marked it down one store because every employee I passed asked me to sign up for a credit card. Even before answering my question about where a product was, I was offered a card. The greeter offered me a card before the front doors shut behind me.
Too aggressive.
Walked in to buy. 300 plus dollar dog collar asked for assistance waited for twenty min while three employees stood around and talked guess I’ll give my mo way to amazon
Great Store, HORRIBLE LOCATION.
Hazelwood is either 1st or 2nd place for highest taxes in Missouri - at 11.988%
Buying a high priced item here would be foolish.
Hazelwood PD are CONSTANTLY RUNNING SPEED TRAPS along where 370 diverges and I-70 Southbound is. Hardly a 3 mile stretch will have 3-5 cars pulled over, creating erratic traffic as they all pull over near the exit for I-70!
I work near here and see it all the time.
There are always slow dump trucks full of gravel along this route from a nearby quarry, loaded and ready to wreck your windshield -
BETTER NOT SPEED UP TO PASS THEM - that's how so many get tagged by the PD.
Consider relocating your store!
Janet in the Gun Library is extremely knowledgeable and help my wife pick out a firearm. Would recommend 10/10
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Unfriendly / Racist feeling atmosphere I will never go back, I was even treated poorly by the old black guy that worked there…with the fungi mushroom growing out the side of his head
My family frequently visits this location for fishing gear and kids clothes. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon with the kids. All of
The exhibits, the aquarium, old fashion candy. The building is spacious and the staff is always welcoming. It’s our hidden gem.
Either my eyes stink or the lighting was dim. I felt like I was shopping in the dark. Staff was helpful and courteous. Their layout is nice and simple. Wasn't too busy that Monday morning so that was neat
Was looking for a shooting vest. Staff was helpful is finding one that was a good fit for me
We like the store, and our kid also loves it. They don't have any athletic shoes for women. The sales rep tried to convince my fiancée to just buy a men's athletic shoe and was a little pushy about it. Their Santa at Christmas was great and they handled our child professionally for his first encounter with Santa.
It is amazing that Cabelas is still open in the area it is in. Pretty much everything around it has shut down (I am guessing because it is not the greatest location for business). Cabelas itself is a great store! They have pretty much anything for the outdoors you are looking for. I came here for some fishing lures and pie iron for making campfire sandwiches, and I left with what I was looking for.
Ok peep the scene, I walk into Cabela's at the Stlouis Mills right. The ONLY reason I’m there is because I got these two gift cards from my job. Ok cool so I’m looking at AR’s and the guy helping me is talking to me like he doesn’t want me there. Very brash and dismissive. So we move to the pistols and I’m really interested in this particular firearm. I’m holding it and I’m really digging it (M&P 2.0 9mm MOS with a ported barrel by the way lol). I ask him about the trigger type because it’s covered and I can’t see it. As I’m giving him the firearm back (because he’s trying to see the type of trigger) I say, “I’m really interested in this one. ” He then puts the pistol back in the case and I say again because maybe he didn’t hear me, “I’m really interested in this one. ” He then closes the case, stands there and looks at me.
So after the awkward silence, I say, “well sir, have a good day. ” And I leave the store.
Here’s the point:
I’m not saying don’t shop there because of this one dude. I am saying that I doesn’t matter how your day is going, if you are in customer service you must treat each customer like they are the most important person in the room.
(I’ve been in customer service since 2008, I know what’s up)
Look I know the typical clientele that shops there and I know the predominant color of skin of the employees who work there, especially in the hunting department but I don’t just automatically use the racist card until its blatant.
Cabela's just please treat every customer with the utmost attention and respect.
