Café Cusco reviews
26We came back for our 2nd time. The food is amazing. For someone wanting to try some food a big off the beaten path, I can't recommend it enough.
My wife has celiac, so we have to be very selective where we eat. This place almost the entire menu is already gluten free or can be made that way easily. They even have a vegetarian menu with a large selection. Have not seen hardly any restaurant have a gluten free dessert menu, and nothing that tastes as good as their chocolate coffee cake. Can't wait to try their cheesecake. Also. The Sangria is great.
Great atmosphere and food. Highly recommend to anyone up for trying something different. The food is so flavorful and well prepared.
One of my favorite places. I can eat here over and over and still can't choose a favorite dish. The sweet potato noodle stir fry is excellent!
The veggie burger is definitely the best in town!
Followed by service from Taylor and Tiffany, hands down an all around excellent experience.
The food was excellent (Colorado Skewers) but the server was not very attentive and seemed to be distracted.
I love Peruvian food and stop by every restaurant I can. The decorations were nice and the food was good. Excellent service.
The chicken was dry and chewy. The shrimp still had the tails attached. The pineapple was cold. The flavor was extremely bland. And not enough veggies to make it healthy. For $15 I expected at last a little bit more. Very disappointed.
However, the atmosphere, decor and furniture was pleasant and inviting. The food and atmosphere did not match.
My wife and I enjoyed dinner here with my cousins on New Year's Eve. It wasn't too busy (although we did get there around 5: 30), and our waitress was very helpful without checking on us too much. I had a steak with parmesan shrimp that was tasty with some mashed potatoes that were equally delicious. I'll definitely consider coming back here if I venture to Springfield again.
The service was great. Waitress made excellent suggestions of what to eat. The desert of chocolate cake was divine.
This restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Our server was fantastic and the food was amazing. Our table got the yucca fries, a goat burger, rabbit, and duck. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. When I called to get a gift certificate after I got back home to Maine they were so nice. This was my first time having Peruvian food despite traveling all over the U. S.and most of Europe. I would highly recommend going here and trying different foods there.:)
Service was mediocre. Food was not very tasty, and was lukewarm. Parking leaves a bit to be desired.
Thank you so much for the variety of cuisine offerings and accommodating our family luncheon. We love the purple corn dessert (mazamorra morada) ; that's pretty much why we visit! The decor is exquisite, so ornate.
So. Love C Street and this place was fantastically designed. The mgt and staff could not be friendlier and I will definitely be back. While the sangria is probably the best I've ever had (including Spain) the food still needs tweaking. Thus the 4 stars. Priced fairly, reads great, but not a 5. Yet. But go!
Great food and service. A little on the pricey side, but we would definitely go again if in the area.
Atmosphere was great. Food excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. I accidentally left my credit card and they promptly mailed it to me since I was a couple hours away.
The service could improve! One waitress for about 6 or 8 table to attend to.
The cebiche is nothing close to the Peruvian cebiche. The lomo saltado and the arroz con mariscos so plain no flavor. Very disappointed
I've died and gone to Incan heaven! What an unanticipated yet utterly amazing Peruvian discovery in little ole Springfield MO. Who would've guessed? I ordered the ceviche and blackfish special- both were spectacular. So flavorful and the fish was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of heat. Excellent restaurant and service is top notch! My new staple when visiting Springfield
The atmosphere is amazing with awesome interior design. The food is some of the best I've had in Springfield. They're experts and creating delightful flavors. Every time we've went the staff has been accommodating and friendly.
Cafe Cusco was my first Peruvian restaurant visit in Springfield and everything was so flavorful and delicious. We ordered almost all of the happy hour apps, and a couple different cocktails and I can honestly say everything I ate was amazing. AND they had kid friendly options for my three year old, so everyone was happy. The atmosphere and layout were beautiful, we loved the stain glass booths. Will definitely return:)
Had lunch with my daughter here. Had mixed seafood appetizer. Lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. Pickled red onions and lightly dresses herb and greens with it. Lunch was chicken skewers and bean quinoa soup. Deliscious! Waitress was very good and explained menu items. Will be going back.
