Camping World, Grain Valley MO

It was a pleasure working with the salesman and manager at this branch of Camping World. They were very attentive to our wants and didn't show us anything that didn't meet that description. They did not try to pressure us into anything that was more than what we wanted. The kept in touch with us to see if they were able to help us with our search. We did end up purchasing a trailer from their establishment and are very excited about it.

We were very pleased with our experience at Camping World. Devon Dewitt was very kind and patient with us, and he went out his way to help us make a wise decision for our family. He was a super nice guy and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience with him!

Not a fan. Had to give too much info just to look around. They were more expensive than others.

Junior worked hard to understand what we were looking for. He went the extra mile to find a really nice camper that was really nice and met our needs.

Danielle was amazing, great to work with and always tried to assist us in making sure we had plenty of options to choose from. When we picked the Class A motorhome, she worked with us to make sure everything was completed.

Like a lot of people we have heard horror stories about camping world. But I can assure you they are wrong, especially with this location. We went in with a specific list of what we wanted and didn’t have any intention on buying that day. But Danielle was an AMAZING sales person. She not only listened to our needs and wants but she exceeded our expectations in every way! If you’re in the market or think you might be then you should definitely go see Danielle! So far our experience has been great. Huge selection and pretty dang good pricing.

So me and my bf bought our travel trailer last week. We had been up there a few of times looking. We also went several other places. We had almost settled on one at another store, and i happened to be in the hospital for a week and that place told my bf if we didn’t come now they would take away the offer. I told him to tell them if they operate like that knowing I’m in the hospital, we don’t want to do business with them. Of course they say oh we can wait till she’s out. Then, they call me and tell me they want way more money than what they told my bf, and that was the final straw. So we went back up to camping world and explained the whole situation. Honestly, there were a few bumps along the road, but I’m not going to go into those little details because our sales woman Sam, was able to find us something way better than what we had picked at the other store, and newer. We have a lot to do before we can take it out, but we are extremely excited and overall pretty satisfied with our purchase. Also, the finance guy, I want to say his name was Tony, he was really great too. We missed a signature so when I came back, Sam told me he would come out to my car so I didn’t even need to come in. I came in anyway, but it was a nice gesture since I was still struggling after my hospitalization. That also reminds me, I have a small dog I take everywhere, she’s not a service dog but I take her pretty much everywhere and they let me bring her and my gizmo even jumped up in Sams lap when we went in the golf cart to go take a second look at one of the
trailers. We got a 2021 Springdale I would upload pictures of it, but I can’t seem to find a picture share button on this.

Our brand new $70,000 camper was delivered broken because of their negligence in prepping it. We did the walk through where they tell you everything that has to be done to travel and went in to sign the paperwork. We paid for delivery and they didn’t prep the bunk or couches and both completely broke. They came out once to fix part of it with toothpicks, which didn’t hold. They won’t return phone calls and it’s been 2 months. WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT ever. Kevin, Billy and Matt are all super rude in person and on just lie to you on the phone (if you can get them on the phone) and basically are now telling us it’s our problem they broke it. So $70,000 and 2 months later my son is still sleeping on the floor.

Both Mark Dyer and John Thomas in Grain Valley were FANTASTIC. It was such a pleasure working with them both.

We just purchased our first RV from Camping World. Junior and the whole team were great to work with. Thanks, Junior, for listening to what we wanted and only showing us those options. Thanks for not trying to sell us something that was out of our price range! We are looking forward to our camping adventure.
