Candlewood Suites Springfield

I was legitimately impressed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I have a semi and trailer, and the manager let me park in the back corner of the lot. Not supposed to, but I was in a bind. The room, which was a queen studio suite, was very clean, except for a muffin rapper in the nightstand drawer, and Tupperware bowl in the microwave. Not things they typically check, so I let that slide. They're pet friendly, and even had a treat for my pupper. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I've seen much higher places, that weren't as nice. No breakfast, but they have a little grub shop, and snacks are less than you'd pay at a truck stop. The location is a little iffy, surrounded by nasty motels. It really is an unexpected delightful surprise.

Don’t waste your money! Walked in to the room to a large toenail trimming on the floor. The “leather” chair was pealing and looked like it had been attacked by a cat, bathroom vanity had a spot on it that looked like a hot pan had been sat down and melted/ burnt it, chunk of dirt on the bed, treadmill doesn’t work in the exercise facility and everything else is also broken or hanging on by a thread. Our key deactivated when we left the room, “that’s normal” the front desk told me. Lots of cheaper, cleaner options with better service in the same area.

Only stayed a day, but it is clean and quiet. The facility is in good shape and is well maintained. The location is great for anything in Springfield. The staff was professional and efficient. I'll be staying here next time.

The only good thing I can say is that the pillow was comfortable. The room was very outdated and was not really clean. The “leather” chair was literally shredding. To top it off, when I asked the desk clerk where the nearest place was that i could get medicine, I was told the two nearby gas stations were sketchy so then I didn’t even feel safe. I was quite disappointed overall and do bot recommend. The only reason we chose it was because we needed pet friendly.

No pool, no breakfast, The room was very small and had 2 little full size beds. The beds were very lumpy and short.hardly now way to get to both sides of the bed without climbing over or across the bed. We.had only 3 towels and the rooms was in need of rehab.

Being an IHG rewards member there was still an incidentals charge. I was traveling with limited funds I needed to buy fuel with and a door year old. You would think that with those factors it would be waived. I ended up sleeping in my car with my little boy and his mom getting very little and poor rest with a 10 hour drive still to go the next morning. I work in hospitality myself and know that a hotel can be very flexible in situations like this. But they didn't seem to care about anything but money.

Wouldn't even give one star. The lady who manages this place is fake as a three dollar bill and she is mean. Someone stole from me and she refused to play back security tapes. Than she called the police on me. Not to mention my room had prior damages in it, and they refused to give me a different room.

Convenient location to a couple restaurants gas and the highway

Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean. We got a suite with a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. There was a Cracker Barrel and a Steak n Shake within walking distance if it's not raining. It was raining so we drove.

This place never fails to meet our expectations. Solid value delivered with a personal touch.

Should be a 0 star hotel. This is definitely the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. Rooms are so dated, rips in every piece of furniture, dirty bathroom, and the whole place overwhelmingly smells like cigarettes.

Was horrible first night was ok we left went to Branson came back could not get in our room went to the front desk they said we could no longer stay after not being there all day the person at the front desk said someone had been smoking in the room I explained we had not been there they could look at the cameras told them I don’t even smoke I asked the manager if there was cigarette butts or anything in the room she had said no they could just smell smoke so to sum it up I got charged for the night and a smoking fee when the had no proof of anything so for $266 dollars didn’t even get to stay would not recommend to anyone

Rooms were not what they advertised. Pretty dated. Hide a bed in the couch was in terrible shape.

Always stay here when in Springfield. Front desk is always friendly, rooms are clean, pet friendly.

First! The area is really sketchy! I seen a crack head roaming around in the parking lot talking to himself in the middle of the day.
Second! They charged me $25 for 2 missing shampoo bottles that I didn't steal and for a broken soap dispenser that i didn't break. I've been a IHG member for many many years and never once have I been falsely accused of actions like this. If you don't believe me about the sketchy area then ask them about not renting any rooms to anyone living within a 50 mile radius around them.
