Cape West Laundry reviews
20Clean and affordable. What more could you ask for. There's someone on duty to help you and clean laundry is always a good thing.
Super busy Sunday morning, but things moved quickly. Facility was clean, though there were quite a few dryer sheets around the floor, but that was from inconsiderate customers.
The laundromat is always clean. The associates are friendly. I have no complaints with the washer & dryer, works well.
Not too bad, talk to some of the girls and all of them seem to be helpful and knew what to do in a crisis. So I like going there and my laundry is done much faster.
The staff saw me put my shirt in the washer and as I went to get the rest of my clothes she took my shirt out of the washer and because I said something to her she told me she was the general manager and that she can do what she wants! Then proceeded to tell me to leave and that I could no longer come back I’ve been washing clothes here for 5 years I will never be back! Worst experience ever!
Very clean and worker was very helpful. I took a friend and got done really fast. Thank you.
Terrible customer service! Very hateful manager who would not refund the money the washing machine I was using ate and did not register. She also wouldn't refund the $1.00 my granddaughter lost that one of the toy machines inside the laundry mat ate and did not get a toy.
About the cleanest laundromat in Cape (which is saying something), but be weary and watch your clothing. Been going here for years with relatively no issues but recently after popping a few shirts in a small washer and having stepped out for 15 minutes, I come back to see that half of them had gone completely missing. There's a big sign on the wall noting that they aren't responsible for stolen clothing, so take that as an open invitation for folks to steal your clothes. Mostly my fault for not babysitting the washer but after 5 years of never having this issue I guess I expected better. About 2 weeks before this I left a washer alone for just enough time to get gas and come back and see that my washer door was hanging wide open. Maybe people are just recently being rude lol. Try not to go too late in the day, or you won't find an open dryer as half of them are always out of order and it gets really busy after 4 pm (not to mention a lot of unsavory folk come out at this time too, once drove away from what was looking like a fist fight in the parking lot one night, and people will try to run you off the road to get in/out as well). Also use the second door if you have breathing issues/asthma as the workers smoke right in the main entrance (there's usually a huge bucket full of cigarette butts next to some lawn chairs up front). The workers themselves however are very nice people. Strange there's a sign saying kids under 16 can't come in yet every time there's always young children running around. Apparently some people have been turned away but not others for this? Something to consider if you need to take your children with you to do laundry. Overall not a horrible place to take care of laundry if you're in a pinch.
It is great in a pinch when the belt on your dryer breaks to be able to dry a couple of loads of laundry. However, it was a struggle to do that because half of the dryers were out of order. We used to love this laundromat because it was always kept clean and the machines always worked really well. Hoping not to have to go back any time soon.
Machine broke as my son put money in it the employee there said not her problem. Very poor customer service
I love the place there is always enough machines enough change and what ever you need to do laundry. If you need a coin laundry mat I'd recommend you try this place first if you don't like it you don't have to go back.yall have a good day hope this helps
They need a lot of updates, and they don't allow kids. How's a mom supposed to get her laundry done?
There is a employee on duty and the place is clean. Machines work well. What else could you ask for.
It was a laundry mate but it also has a snack bar an a few cool arcade machines helpfull if u need to let you child do something also some coin pushers it says no change machine on the door but they do have one
There were about 12 dryers out of order and the other ones were finished Noone was empty them for almost an hour. Dryers were not getting my things dry put in about $2 for 4 towels and a chair cover and left with them still wet. Left with most of my cloths wet. Fryers were not heating.
Some machines work fine dryers not so much wasted at least 5 dollars drying clothes over and over. They have signs up saying no one under 16 years old allowed in bullcrap they had a little child in there coughing and running around also had her sitting on the counter where they serve some food items which the child was coughing all over no one was sanitizing anything. Truly disgusting place to be ripping off low income family's.
Visible cockroaches. They are on the machines. I was impressed by this place until today. I've been here 5 times now or so, and this time I see roaches. I'm so grossed out. I don't have them at home and do not want to chance them winding up in my laundry basket and coming home with me. So gross. So gross. Machines work fine and its decently priced and looks clean, but cockroaches are where we cross the line. If my washer wasn't already going I'd be gone. At least it's an issue that can be resolved. Maybe I'll try again in a few months.
Use to be a great place but the manager is ruining it with changing everything as far as rules go new equipment is great though if you weren't so restricted on who can be in the building my kids should not have to wait outside in the heat
No children under 16, who ever heard of such a thing. I took my grandson with me to do laundry and was turned away. It's not as though there's a lot of choices, only 2 laundry mats as I know of.
Washing machines are nice and easy to use.

At this time there were not many machines broken down maybe 3 dryers.
It will take at least $5-10 to wash and dry a weeks worth of laundry for 1 person.
There is a bill to coin (quarter) exchanger.
There also is a bill reducer which turns $10s and $20s to $5s.
I went on a Saturday and the were two associates working there that were friendly and helpful.
Overall a little pricey but machines worked well.
