I came to the hospital in sever pain yesterday And the ER doctor gave me 2 different medicines why they sent them to 2 Different pharmacies i don't know so i picked up 1 script yesterday and the other pharmacy is closed until Monday so I called the hospital and they was suppose to resend the script to the right pharmacy only thing is that they still didn't send the script i needed instead sent dame script 3 times.i go back to the hospital next day because i am miserable and the nurse told me that they fixed it and its at the right pharmacy now. So i called the pharmacy and NO same thing i go back inside to talk to the nurse and tell her what the pharmacy said and she want to pretty much call me a lier and that the pharmacy has to call her and let her know. Really wow stupid the pharmacy did call them on my behalf

Good care in Labor & Delivery.
Only it doesn’t feel safe to have a baby there.
I went in thinking I was in Pre-term labor, turns out due to stress it was some bad contractions and things looked great!
Unfortunately, I was very taken back when hearing voices of family members being allowed behind the L&D doors. I was never asked if I wanted guest, nobody nurses or staff said I was going to have guest. From making a complaint to a few friends, apparently in any department of the hospital ER, L&D, ICU, Other.they will just allow anyone behind doors into patient rooms!
If you’re gonna have a baby, be mindful of the safety of your birth center.
Coming from different states, having babies in two different states. Never once has a hospital allowed anyone in my room exam or delivery without my knowledge and approval. Doesn’t matter who they are relation or none, they didn’t allow anyone back with questioning me or my husband.
Major safety concern. The “what if” could be endless here.
Again, before picking the “perfect” birth center, look into their safety of how easy it is to get access to you.
Still in shock. It honestly started my contractions some more while there I was so upset, uncomfortable, and stressed as is.

The nurses. Make the Hospital.

I am currently an outpatient getting infusion antibiotics going on 4 weeks now. I just want to say how kind and patient the nursing staff it. They really make my experience a lot easier. The doctors don’t really know what is wrong. But I am glad the nurses are taking the time to make the experience less tedious.

I took my 84 year old mom here for falling 5 times in 6 days. She had a CT (the CT tech was phenomenal). We were discharged without ever talking to or seeing a doctor! What’s that about? That’s poor patient care.

I had to give a 1 star or it wouldn't let me give a review. I'd definitely give them a -5 star rating! Had to go to the ER because I couldn't breathe. They done ct for kidney stones! Really! The room had blood on the floor that wasn't mine, the staff wasn't considerate and gave me meds that made me even sicker than I was! Left without any true diagnosis or meds. Had to go to my PCP and get another CT. Found out that I had pneumonia and torn muscles. I'll never ever go to CRMC ER again! Suggest if you're sick GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Son at emergency room on Saturday afternoon. After about 6 hours was sent home and was told they don't diagnose what causes the problems only that you won't die in next 24 to48 hours. Is this really the way to practice medicine

First time coming to the ER, my Dr Kelly Douglas had the nurse take Covid and flu tests and also drew blood and put me on 2 iv bags. The doctor did not tell me what the blood tests were for and what my temperature was. They did not find out what was wrong with me and when I asked her she said I had a virus and I asked what virus her exact words were “don’t know don’t care” and then they discharged me and she told me to go to the pharmacy and pick up whatever I wanted…. How could they discharge someone when they don’t know what is wrong but clearly looking at me you can see something is wrong. Not to mention I got worse after leaving. The Dr is very unprofessional and I would never want her as my Dr again. The nurses were very nice and helpful.

Pharmacy awarded. Busy. 2nd floor next to coffee shop and gift shop. Got shingles vaccine there. They have a small room once it is mixed and the shot is administered there.

ICU care after surgery in the daytime was fine. But scary as hell when the nightshift came on. They honestly almost killed me one night, and wound up on a vent for many days. (The surgeon did a great job, though.) Make sure someone stays with you at night!

Don't even take your dog there (er)
1) went because my doctor was concerned that I had a blood clot in my leg and real tightness in the left side of my chest running up my neck (felt like I was having another heart attack)
2) witch thew the blood work (some of witch I found at the sink AFTER I got my papers) I don't have a blood clot or was having a heart attack my blood pressure was extremely low for me the whole time I was there the bottom was 55 -66 until the last one after a 10 minute of me asking how low before I should be concerned and was only told " the er doesn't adjust b/p meds she got it up to 73 and said that's good shut off the machine unhooked me and left

To be honest I have been to multiple er's for seizures by ambulance. Let's just say this hospital depending on who the doctor is does nothing. It's scary alone not knowing what is going on or being in a fog depending on what
type you have. Then when you're coming out all you see is shapes and some color's and so confused, and sore. But then your laying in this room and no call light and no one around every time! Never happens anywhere else.being honest about your past being a recovering addict, like i told them from the start, they have it in their system an label you it almost seems like? No other hospital I have been to does that! Disappointing! Especially when you have been in recovery for a few years! Shame on you Capital Region someone I feel needs to say this, because I know I'm not the only one!

Once again these drs and nurses have went above and beyond while careing for me, i am horrible with names, I spent most of my day in the ER with my nurse, THANK YOU LISA! Your a
rock star sister! And the ladies In Anesthesia, the great dr and last but definitely not least, nurse janice on the 3rd floor, took amazing care of me. And then this morning MORGAN was just as amazing as the other drs/nurses. THANK YOU CAPITAL REGION MEDICAL CENTER!

New to the area and called over the summer to secure a normal yearly appt. I set it with Dr. Blanchard for their soonest available December 23rd which is today. I got a call yesterday that their system is down and they had to cancel my appt which I understand things happen. They had no idea when I would be able to be scheduled again and would have to call me back when their system was working. I called back to let them know I have a few medications I’m on, that are out of refills because I need my appt to get them refilled again. They took my information and said someone would call me back. Later that day someone did call and took down my prescriptions and previous dr info to pass on. I had requested my medical records to be faxed when I made the appt which shows I have been on these meds for years. I get a call this morning the day I’m supposed to be seen and she tells me Dr. Blanchard doesn’t feel comfortable re filling my medications without seeing me even though they cancelled my appt and have no idea when I can be seen. They have no empathy about it and suggested I contact my old doctor which I already had and they won’t re fill unless I have an appt with them. Very unprofessional and doesn’t make sense. I will be looking for another location and doctor to establish care with because I feel Dr. Blanchard and the staff do not care about the patient and do not put the needs of the patient first. I will be escalating this complaint.

If I could give it zero stars I would. You guys need to be a little more lenient with your visitor policy. I have a loved one in the ER and drove all the way from Columbia to visit this person. When I got to the ER first thing I'm told is I can't see my loved one because of the one visitor policy. They didn't seem to give two s**** about myself being emotionally distraught either. So I guess you guys really don't care too much about people if you don't let sick or potentially dying folks see their family members. Hate this place. Would rather die on the street than be taken here if it were me.

I had to wait 5 months to get an appointment with a gastrointestinal Dr. I finally get an appointment for today, Dec 29th at 3: 30. I arrive to find out it's for tomorrow, not today. Yesterday I get a robo call asking me to confirm my appt for TODAY. Two days ago crmc called me again.to confirm for TODAY!

I told them I have another dr appt for tomorrow so I can't make it then. They asked me to change my appt for tomorrow. Why should I change my plans because crmc can't schedule correctly? She went to reschedule my appt. It would be ANOTHER 5 months. I told her to just forget it. This after I spent 4 days there for covid in October. It took them two days to get me my blood pressure pills I have to take daily.

Do not go to crmc!

If I could give minus 10,000 stars I would. The most horrible place from the emergency room to clinic and lab. My daughter had a miscarriage last week the ER was absolutely horrible disregarded her symptoms sent her home and second visit left her in the waiting room when she had miscarried her baby. Absolutely the most inhumane, unprofessional, unfeeling and disgusting people I have ever seen!

Doctors are fine but billing sucks.
I have 2 insurances and they still send my account to creditors. I'm tired if doing their accounting for them.
After 3 weeks i can't get through via phone call.

I don't understand why people leave horrible reviews. I have never been unsatisfied with any services my kids or myself have received. I always find the staff very friendly, great bedside manners. The rooms are large and easy to move around in. This is my first choice hospital and treatment center! Keep you the great work CRMC staff!

As a first time mom, being scared of the whole delivery process. I would absolutely come to Capital Regions again for another child. From the great staff, great doctor and excellent care. They also provided a dinner for two parents. 10/10
