Everything was good except for the transport of the car to the dealer.the car was damaged slightly and repair took to long.

Two cars purchased from CarMax S. Lindbergh over the years. They have been helpful, accommodating, and it definitely beats wasting money on a new car or haggling on a typical used lot.

First time trading and purchasing a vehicle at Carmax. I will definitely only be using them for my vehicle purchases for now on! I usually dread the process because of my past experiences with dealerships but this was surprisingly easy and very convenient.

The first time I ever purchased a vehicle was with this store: huge mistake.

I did a trade in with a vehicle, and I was given zero notice about when I was expecting to turn the vehicle into them. I went to the store one night, completed paperwork, and then was suddenly told that I had to give them my car that night. I was never given a heads up or any notice that I wasn’t leaving with my original car that night. I spent hours rushing trying to empty the vehicle out on store premises, didn’t have the original key with me, and had no chance to purchase insurance before driving the new vehicle home because NO ONE gave me notice about turning my car in. Unprofessional and beyond tacky.

If you make the awful mistake of working with them, please interrogate them about every step of the process. Because they won’t communicate anything to you unless it’s related to them receiving payment from you.

I’ll admit the employees are friendly, but they really need to work on communication and professionalism.

Found the EXACT car I was looking for. Best price of any dealer or online source. Excellent customer care. My salesman Oliver did a nice job. Professional. I'm highly satisfied.

We worked with Tony at the South county, MO locarion and have been very pleased with vehicle, service and the whole process. We have told many people sense then if they are in the market to give them a try before making any final decisions.

My husband and I had a great experience with carmax at the South Lindbergh store.our sales rep Mark was awesome.he took his time with us and helped us get into the car we wanted (Chrysler 200). And he worked hard to make sure our loan details stayed within our budget.
And Terri (I think that was his name) who finished up with the closing of our car loan was also great.he explained everything to us about the loan and did not leave anything out.
I will definitely be back again in the future.

My taxes wasn’t put into my note, my car stinks, my tire light is on.spent 5 hours in the shop to get items corrected and they wasn’t fixed at all.after “getting it serviced”. I will not be getting my daughters car from here nor will I be getting another car from here.

I've never bought a car from CarMax, but I've sold one and had another appraised. I trust them to give me the best possible dealership offer on trades. They've matched or beat other dealership offers on my vehicles, sometimes by thousands of dollars.

I appreciate the no-haggle, up front pricing. Our salesman, Mark P, did an excellent job helping us find the perfect vehicle and get us financed. Drove away that day with a car!

I went in to get a price to sell my car. I received a price good for 7 days and no pressure. It was great.
