The sales staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. The service team is also very helpful. The furniture is quality, and is priced accordingly but reasonably.

First time shopping here. We had them order a couch for us as they didn't have the color we wanted. Gave us a price and we paid a deposit. Got a phone call the next day from the salesman telling me they sold it to us for a 100. Less then they should have. So. I split the difference. We were also told as we didn't live in the St. Louis delivery area it would be a 200. Delivery fee. When all was said and done they wouldn't deliver our couch, even for a fee because we didn't spend 3200. Last time we will buy from them.

Really large selection compared to any other furniture store in Stl. Jewelz was a pleasure to work with. They gave us a great deal on a sectional couch and worked with us on the price.

Carol House delivered furniture today with what we knew was a difficult installation due to a narrow staircase. The individuals not only made it look like a piece of cake but expertly installed the pieces and ensured we were happy. The showroom staff is helpful and courteous to work with. Kudos on selections and communication. They work with all price points and all budgets. Third order for us over the years and more to come.

I got trick about some furniture on price and warranty and I never got my receipt and it been 3 months and have bought furniture from Carol lots of time and this was the worst the sales lady lied to me and the manager that was so sad that put a bad taste in my mouth i don't think i would go back and i love their furniture. And iam still waiting. And i forgot a piece broke on the furniture i have to call about that

Usually we like shopping here but this time our sales person seemed impatient with us. We've bought many pieces here- 2 living room chairs, dining room set, kitchen table and chairs and this time we bought a sofa table which we use for our tv. It was not enjoyable as our other furniture buying experience had been.

Nice furniture but expensive. Lady followed us around and would not leave us alone while we wanted to look.

My husband Gary and I came in to look at living room furniture and were promptly greeted by Steve Rosenthal. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we were looking for. We decided to make a purchase and Steve went over the financing terms with us and delivery options. Good experience.

Wide variety of items. Wonderful family owned buisness. Active in the community. Kind and generous people.

They had sales people that are serious about their jobs! You will get an education from these people. But prices are extremely expensive, however the customer service is A+.

Great people to work for/with. Owners are available and very nice folks. Nice furniture you won’t find any where else.

If you've been in St. Louis for any length of time, you've surely heard "because you like nice things" more than once. A large furniture store with a range of mid-priced furniture and home accessories. Once you enter the building you actually have to walk down a long hallway (with largely discounted furniture) before you enter the actual sales floor. Staff are pleasant and accommodating, and delivery is quick for in-stock items.

I had my dimensions.walked in, found the perfect sectional, and was out quickly.

We had purchased a couch from Carol House and it was peeling.they promised to give a partial store credit towards our next purchase.good customer service.

The staff was friendly enough, until he wasn't. My friend mentioned she wasn't looking to spend 2500 on a bedroom set and he basically blew us off when we asked what he had around the $900-1000 range. Not that she didn't have money, she was on a budget and had an entire house to furnish. But he didn't ask that question. He then left us and just told us to look around. No longer thinking he was going to make a sale. Made me extremely disappointed. I do not think I will ever shop at Carol House again. Do not judge by appearance. That was exactly what the salesman did. We walked around the store and not one other person came up to us. It was pretty sad. Won't be back.

I'm very split on my experience with Carol House. Sometimes, their exceptional knowledge and customer service make the visit and the brick n mortar surcharge worth it. Other times, I've been helped by sales people who just didn't listen, or didn't understand their products. Of the handful of times I've purchased furniture, some of it was on time and courteously delivered. Other times, I get pillows that are not properly stuffed or guys who track mud through my house. Overall, meh. I've started ordering more online - the prices are better although I've got to assemble things myself. I'm starting to think the bigger selection is worth it. My most recent experience was a delay of almost 4 months on furniture, and despite them giving me a refund they also held onto all my money the whole time (essentially I gave them a free loan for thousands of dollars), so I think it's overall a negative. I don't think I'll be back.
