Car shield scammed me like no other here my benz one night of driving and my dashboard just dies I bring it in to my mechanic 3months into my contract and say try to figure it out I run with car shield this guy can't get into the main computer of my car and stuff and says to bring it to mercadez Benz and when I pull into there parking lot my power steering dies right then mercadez Benz wanted 1500 to diagnose it I said no just fix the power steering and car shield like we cant fix anything till we get the dash fix and we're not helping with the diagnosis fees so now I'm scraping my car for 300 bucks and they keep my 700 IT A SCAM DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY

Know what is covered and not. Remember your policy is based upon the age of your car and mileage. Don't buy if they try to sell you a policy if your car is beyond their recommended age and mileage is over 150,000. Also, don't expect most repairs to be covered. Many repair shops do not like to accept their warranty because it takes them hours to get through.

This company got my email without my permission either illegally or inadequately and sending tons of emails. I tried to block and unsubscribe this but failed. This company is annoying me so much.

Had to call them several times to get repairs done took over a month to get my car back price without carshield was $1,000 price with carshield $750 took a month to get it back very bad customer service there's better Services out there than this one

If I could I would give this company a way below star 1 value. This company is the biggest ripoff.
Paid on a policy for over 4 years and jerked me and my mechanic around for 3 months then denied my claim. My car was a very well maintained car. I have papers on all the services done to my car. The engine failed do to a valve seat malfunction which ultimately blew the motor. CarShield says that it denied my claim because of carbon buildup. My mechanic disagrees with that. However we have no recourse. Paid all that money out to CarShield as piece of mind only to be car-less and I still owe my mechanic for all the diagnostic and tear down that CarShield requested. My suggestion to anyone using CarShield to cancel them and get a policy from someone that you know you can trust
in.

I should of look at their reviews first if I knew they only had 2 stars rating I wouldn't of even bothered
They are false advertising

They hired a tow company that damaged my vehicle but of course it’s not their fault and the tow company didn’t do it! Imagine saying it’s not your fault but you hired them! Whattttttt

This is the second time we needed work on our car and it wasn’t covered by the warranty. They only thing they covered was the tow.

Very disappointed with customer service as they are very very disrespectful. Several calls that were unprofessional and when I say the standards and expectations not held as I expected.

I’ve had a nasty experience with a CarShield Rep.he all but cursed me out, all because I canceled out, he very rude and Nasty, to my surprise at his words and barking, I was taken by the conversation. I do not recommend this company to anyone, and if you have invested money into the company, forget about money being refunded.

Put my Bmw in the shop for an oil leak was told it was a vacuum pump wich it will make it leak it was in for one week.after a diagnostic I was told carShield wouldn't cover coat nor pay for my car to get fix.this was not a good experience

I've started to receive mail at my address from a few companies, including CarShield, for Dorothy Manzelli and Anne Gulley who I do not know, and who have never lived at this address. Some database append wrongfully matched them to my location. CarShield told me to visit their website and unsubscribe. Instead, I will begin giving 1 star reviews and forwarding these to their corporate office.

I just canceled my subscription I had car shield for two years on my BMW and my car went into the shop three times and they didn’t cover anything every time it went in! Biggest scam!

I have been with carshield since day I bought my truck over 2 years they are great and wonderful they fixed my water pump as soon as it went bad and they replaced my radiator a year later with no issues I have nothing bad to say about them they're a great service and you people that are saying well they didn't fix this and they didn't fix that and they don't tell you what they cover you just didn't read anything because it tells you in your contract what they cover and what they don't cover and if you don't know just call them thank you carshield

This is by far the biggest scam company i have run into.they have had my vehicle for 3 weeks and done nothing.i lost my job, couldnt pay to feed my child and will be filing litigation against this company.they will tell you anything to get money out of you and then do nothing to help after screwing you. DO NOT TRUST CARSHIELD OR AMERICAN AUTO SHIELD

This company is getting bad very fast, many repair shops here that won't even work with them. They deny claims and try not to pay repair shops. Don't get this service, they are a scam and deceitful. I have a car down and the parts that need repair are 75% of the reason I got the coverage in the first place, being denied and I can't afford to pay directly. I would give them a 0 out of 5 if I could.

Nothing but a SCAM. Got a notice in the mail for a vehicle I don't even own. Called and asked about why they have my name and address for vehicle I don't own. Spoke with three different people all were very rude and could not tell me a answer. Don't waste your time.

I am presently looking for a place that will honor the CarShield warranty I live in a small community and nobody takes it there so I have a vehicle parked until I can find somebody to check out it traction control arms system says it’s off it won’t go into four-wheel-drive lol so I’m hopeful that I’ll find somebody soon
