4Carthage golf course has a great challenging front nine with a even more challenging experience on the back nine.
I play in a 9 hole league every Monday PM. The greens are rarely mowed since the weekend. This week the ruff was so long it was almost unplayable. And, even though the heat index was over 112 degrees, there were only 2 water jugs on each nine. Lastly, the sand traps need to be raked and ready for play daily.that never happens.
This is a great course Chuck, th guy behind the counter was really helpful when I was asking about clubs and some golf balls. The greens are well maintained and so are the fareways
The course was in great shape and a most fun challenge! It'd been a while since I made it back to Carthage to play this course, so I'd forgotten just how much I enjoy it!
