Catch 22's Fish & Burger Joint, Dexter MO

Took about 45 minutes to get our 46$ order and it was all cold even after the wait and the fish was so thin it was like eating a fried pork rind.catch 21 didn't catch us and we won't be back.

All the burgers are smash steak burgers. Would probably get a double next time since they are so thin, but they are very good. Nice atmosphere, there's a bar area in the back and to the right of the front door, a rolled ice cream counter. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The wait time for food wasn't long at all. The food is served on metal trays, which adds to the fun of the place. There are tons of memorabilia on the walls, with a few tvs.

They have small metal chair and tables didn't want to set very long it was really uncomfortable the fish was not good it was clean and friendly service but we were the only people there

Food was yummy, place was clean, and prices were much better than Gatlinburg area. We had fried okra, kids chicken strip (very tasty), chicken salad, chef salad, sweet tea (southern sweet) and Arnold Palmer. I would come here again when traveling to the Smokie mountains. They have rolled ice cream next door

My husband and I ate here on our way through Dexter. $50ish dollars for 2 burgers (disappointing), 2 sides, and 2 sweet teas. To us these weren't Southeast MO prices. If this is your cup of tea"woohoo". As for us we will not revisit.

Food was hot, server was nice, restaurant was clean and some of the food was ok but I would probably never go back for fish again. That is not American raised catfish! It was chewy and odd. Charged extra for sliced pickle, onion and lemon. (Very very small amounts). The Arnold Palmer was so syrupy sweet it tasted more like sugar water.

Love 22’s! Visited this weekend and left stuffed! The waitresses and owners were super friendly and gave great service! Plus they have rolled ice cream for dessert that is too good! 10/10 would recommend!

Fish was not completely cooked.cooked on outside wet and not cooked completely on inside. Even the hushpuppies were doughy. We put our fish in microwave to cook the inside of fish strips. Spent $45 on a meal we could not enjoy. We will not go back.

They are using swai (oriental fish) and calling it catfish on their menu. This is an unethical business practice. Also by calling it as if it was American raised catfish is a violation of the food and drug administration.

We tried to get an ice cream for our son tonight and it was 20 mins prior to closing and were turned away. Very rude workers at cash register and ice cream area. It was 7: 40 when we left.

Great addition to Dexters restaurant choices. The fish is a good size and cooked perfectly. The burgers are great too, the only problem is deciding which to order. Would love to see you get a beer license.

Friendly staff. Doesn't feel crowded. You get a good amount of food for a portion. Burgers are made like at Steak n Shake. Definitely worth checking out!

Terrible fish my wife had shrimp it was terrible. What a waste of time and money. Don't go you'll be sadly disappointed!

Had lunch with my mom before leaving town. The mushroom swiss burger was great. Zero complaints.

I ordered online and got a text saying my food was ready. I waited 45 mins then asked if my food was ready. The server proceeded to tell me she had been there all day no break or no help. The manager/owner came out telling me she didn’t believe I got a text saying my food was ready. Once I showed her she proceeded to tell me it was because I had the same name as another customer (who was also there waiting for an hour for her food) I ended up waiting for an hour and 20 mins after I received a text saying my order was ready! I asked to speak to the manager again and she was “too busy”! I also asked for my money back and was told they can’t do it for online orders!

It would t allow me to comment back but I would like to say that I never received anything free with my order! I paid $35 for 3 burgers and that’s exactly what was on my order! Nothing was giving to me. When you came out to speak to me I still had to wait another 20 mins. And I had asked for my money back which is why you came out to speak to me in the first place!

I ordered a Chef salad to go the other night. Wonderful, the best salad I have had out in a long time. Would eat there again in a heartbeat and intend to.

I am not being mean just honest. I am sorry but stay away. My dad came to visit me and I wanted to take him somewhere nice. To make a long story short we left hungry and he $38.00 poorer after the following occurred: The menu said 1/2 pound burgers. The $1.29 burger at McDonalds is bigger. He paid $38.00 for two tiny hamburgers, a child's handful of fries, eight onions rings of which only two were more than a bite and one coke. You do the math. He told me he hasn't felt that ripped off in a long long time. We laughed about it and he said better to waste his money than mine but I was embarrassed to say the least. I will not be back. Totally unacceptable.

Simply love this restaurant. This was our second time there. We live in Sikeston and we wanted to go back again. The last visit was amazing. This time was too. We ordered the Gator bites to try. My wife didn't care for them, but I loved them. (by the way they taste like fried pork chops) I sure hated that cause it left that much more for me.lol. She got the fish (the best around period) I got a single patty bacon cheese burger, it was perfect. If you're ever near Dexter, Missouri you need to drive behind the Dexter Rhodes and give Catch 22 a try. I guarantee it won't be your last trip.
