Catfish Kettle Restaurant, Farmington MO

Very nice restaurant, it doesn't feel corporate and the waiters are very polite. My only problem is the poor ergonomics of the parking lot, much too cramped for me.

Well, the meats are really good.fish, chicken and shrimp. But I'm sadly disappointed in the coleslaw, the recipe has been altered. It's just not as good and creamy as it used to be, nor chopped as finely. We won't be requesting that again.
10/22/21. UPDATE: They fixed the coleslaw! It's wonderful again! Back to FIVE STARS!

Great catfish and desserts. However you will never have room for the dessert afterwards. We take ours togo. Lots of side options.

Definitely worth the drive. Had a party of 6 adults. Everyone got the all you can eat so they just brought out trays and bowls of the food. Prior to that, they give you a big Mason jar of your beverage. Stay away from your glass until your food comes. It's a trap! Everything was tasty. Service eas tip top. I'd go back again.

I have never eaten their food, but my sister loves it, so I was picking up for her and her friend. Staff was super friendly, as always.

I love this place! They have some of the best food in town. The Catfish Kettle Team works diligently to get you seated, drinks ordered, and hot food to the table. I will say this, if you love catfish or just sea food in general, please stop by the Catfish Kettle. The only regret you may have is eating WAY TOO MUCH

This is the best Catfish money can buy in my opinion, and the sides are homemade and delicious, large portions, or you can order all you can eat family style, the staff is so friendly and the prices are very reasonable, this place was a big hit with me, definitely recommend it.

First time i visited area in June it was great. Visited today and had the catfish and it was not the same experience. The catfish was rubbery not crunchy at all like before, the fried corn on the cob had more crunch and was delicious along with cucumber salad. Maybe they got a new chef since then. The service was exclent.

They changed the prices of the food over double and failed to say so. Charged us DOUBLE then the manager came over being super hateful and when she took our cards she proceeded to trash talk us to another worker who kept turning around and staring at us. The dish was advertised as 38.99 for a bucket of crab and we were charged 69.99. The food was great, service was slow, and manager was a extremely rude and not professional at all.

Amazing experience. Super friendly staff. Great waitress. We had all you can eat lunch. Very affordable and plentiful portions. Catfish shrimp and chicken all excellent. Fries, beans, slaw, and the rest were great. What I'm guessing was homemade pickles were very good. Can't say enough. But overall the value here is just unreal. We will go back.

They have great food and the portions were perfect I ate so much I was stuffed and took some home and had it for lunch the next day!

We went here over a week ago and I just can’t stop thinking about it. We were looking at getting a combo plate with chicken and catfish but for a couple dollars more you can get all-you can eat fish, chicken, and shrimp with all the fixins. I asked the waitress how many sides we could choose because it didn’t say on the menu. She said, “anything you want. ” The baked beans were so good! Probably the best baked beans I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The flavor was there for sure! The chicken was delicious. The catfish was moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside, thick, and no nasty dark spots on the inside like you get with some other catfish. I liked that they catfish was farm-raised and was surprised but how clean it tasted. The cole slaw had a nice fine shred, was creamy, and delicious. I’m not a huge fan of fried corn but being that you can get any sides you want, I figured why not give it a shot. It had good flavor and even a hint of spiciness but not overpowering. I know I mentioned the baked beans already but they were so good I have to say it twice! I hear the kettle sauce is fantastic. I am a sauce guy. Love sauces and dipping everything. But the food was so good I forgot to ask for it. The fried pickles were good too! The people at work were ranting about this place and telling me I have to go there. Now I see why. Would highly recommend! They served us family style and reorders were quick. And they’ll let you take home a Togo box with your all-you-can-eat. You can’t beat it. If you’re traveling and in the area, you have to stop here for a good meal. When you ask someone from a neighboring town where to go for catfish, they’ll all tell you where the closest place is………. And then they’ll proceed to tell you about Catfish Kettle as if they were a proud parent and this was their child. Worth the drive for sure! Also, they have pies and like 7 different kinds of cheesecake. We were too full for dessert but they looked good. I know I didn’t mention the other sides but EVERYTHING was good. Stop reading and just drive out there. You won’t regret it.

This is the MOST AWESOME place to eat, people are great, food is Great, Service is GREAT, there are not enough stars for his place. If you don't eat here you have cheated yourself and your family and friends.

Delicious food, friendly staff, very greasy floor from dining area into the bathroom. Will come again with a bigger appetite

I had the fried catfish filets and they were delicious! I couldn't eat all of it. The staff is super friendly and our drinks were never empty. Definitely a new favorite!

First time eating here we was on road trip saw the sign and decided to stop and check it out with the family.glad we did great Catfish.

The best catfish! My parents love the slaw and beans (not my thing), but I loved the new (to me) bacon chip things we got when we were seated at the table. We did the all-you-can-eat, but many around us ordered some amazing looking food from the menu. The fried corn on the cob looked awesome. I'll have to try that next!
