Cave Hollow Park reviews
17Hiking trails, fenced dog park, accessible playground, clean bathrooms, shelter house with electric, grills and tables.
Neat place to take a short walk on. After a heavy rain you can find a few small water falls. Super neat, makes you forget you're in town!
Karee is confused, she walked many of the paths surrounded by wooded areas and found only large limestone masses and some overhangs at the ends of the paths with some paths going around much of the limestone, but throughout all of what was explored, she found no caves.
Do most humans not know what caves are?
Do said humans think outcrops and overhangs of rock with walkable space bellow them are caves?
Outside of the disapointment of there seemingly being no actual caves in the area, the hopefully natural limestone rocks and flourishing forest hollow was relaxing and lovely feeling to walk through and rest with for the Karee fluff.
My kids absolutely love this place! The walking trails and caves are very neat (just ignore the graffiti).
Cave hollow will always hold a special place in my heart as the place I said I do? I can't think of a more beautiful place that is so deeply full of love. I strongly reccomend this park to anyone needing a bit of peace in their life. Its wonderful for hikeing and exploring its also the perfect place to spend time enjoying the sights of nature.
I wish they would install permanent bathrooms. Without fail, everytime we go there a kid has to use the bathroom, idk who thinks porta potties are still acceptable for kids use. One of the spinning merry go rounds is missing the center cover, exposing the metal bar where kids feet could slide into, that's nice.
Lived this place very safe and mysterious. The playground was safe and clean and lots of fun for all ages. The bathrooms were closed and the porta potty was not one to use.
I've been Searching all over for a decent place for my Service ? Dog to play and enjoy being the Wonderful Creature He Is. They're isn't any place Under 25 Miles of Clinton Mo, even though there's a polethera of Land suitable for such use. This place is very large, with different area's for different types of play, for Canine's and People's to enjoy including Off Leash Hiking Trail's. Thank you so much, Willie had a Wonderful Time Playing with several other Dog's and their stuwards, City Council of Warrensburg! Now each time I return I'll be being watched to return and enjoy more of your Wonderful Retreat & Canine Play, Off Leash of course.
The grounds are well kept and the hiking trails are so much fun and interesting. The grandkids enjoy the playground.
I love Cave Hollow but on October 15th there was a wedding reception with alcohol. There were a lot of kids on the playground. I don't think alcohol should be allowed in public parks.
It was alright, Native Americans were definently there. I'm sure the top of it would of stuck out farther.
Really nice park. I picked up trash and Broken plates along the trail. There were trees and rocks which had been spray painted. It was still enjoyable just sad that people try to ruin things. Dog park with sections for big/small dogs and a kids playground also.
Love it there! I started going there in 1979 when it was a small path and when my boys got old enough they trekked it too!
It's a Holy place for me!
Parents don't play with their children. I'm not a baby sitter for your kids please have them leave me alone while I am with my children. Its awkward.
This park is awesome. Great play area, and has the best short hiking trail! The trail was clean and clear and had a little something for everyone.
Just have to say as a visitor to this city for the last three months
