Have done a lot of business there starting in 2016 and has went majorly downhill recently. Mike the loan officer specially likes to act superior and rude. Will be moving what little business I had left with them elsewhere.

Been with Central bank for years. Over the last month I have been getting the best customer service from Kyle at the main branch location. I see him greet everyone that comes through the door and always has a smile on his face. Keep up the good work Kyle!

Erin refused to cash my pay check even though I'm a member and have been for over a year. Had to drive to another town and central bank just to pay rent on pay day.

She did agree to deposit the check, but put a hold on the funds till the next day even though I was there at 2: 30. This location has no oversight and will refuse service if it's hot or they just don't feel like it.

Edit 02Nov22 customer service only gotten worse. Had to wait 20 minutes for all other cars to pass, then threatened police to get my id and card back.

Don't trust this Bank they will decline random charges with no reason, sometimes they call you to tell you they're declining charges, sometimes they don't call you to tell you they're declining charges, and you get left owing people money as a result.

I have had nothing but problem after problem with this bank for sometime now. The most recent issue was I had my account compromised and called ahead to protect myself and be diligent. The women I spoke to said she would let the bank know and around what time I would be coming in to get everything sorted out. I arrive at that time and am told we don’t do appointments so it’s going to be a little while. It’s hard enough to be a victim and have all your information compromised from you but it’s even worse that the bank you have spent the last 16 years with doesn’t have time to help me. I’m not sure why the lady told me to come in and they would have a heads up to be ready if they weren’t actually going to he. I am a customer today until I can figure out who I will bank with further but have no intentions of remaining a customer any longer then I absolutely have to be. This was an amazing bank that use to care about their customers but since it has changed from a local company to a corporate banking company it has went downhill. You don’t care about me from anyone else and your ability to actually help your customers has changed. It’s a disappointment to have been a customer for so long and to know that it doesn’t matter at all. You CAN do better and SHOULD do better.

Elizabeth is a Rockstar teller! I know our first of the month deposits (White River Apartments) can be a pain with so many money orders, she never complains. She has an eye for detail and has a great attitude. I love going to the Hollister branch because I know no matter how frustrating my deposit is I will always be met with a smile!

This branch has been nothing but helpful! They were there when i need a bank account and they helped me start working! Fast and reliable service, each member of this branch was super friendly and made aure i had everything! 10/10!

I came to the drive up to get 2 rolls of quarters for laundry (I’m from out of state) I was asked if I was a customer and said No.the tellar gave me the quarters but said they aren’t supposed to service anyone but their own customers! WTH is wrong with my 20.00 bill?
And THIS is whats wrong with America folks! A all American 20.00 bill isn’t good everywhere!
Shame on this bank; they aren’t tourist friendly and they are in the middle of Branson Mo!
Based on this attitude of this bank I wouldn’t do any business with them; go elsewhere

I’ve had this bank for over 12 years and have never had an overdraft on my account. I had a pending bill of $25 and quickly transferred additional money. Once the bill cleared with adequate money in my account, they still charged me a $35 overdraft fee. I contacted them and asked for it to be removed since I had the money in my account before the pending bill (of less than 24hours) cleared.

I’m honestly tired of banks being used to build billionaires off poor peoples overdraft fees. But the fact that I’ve never overdrawn this account in 12 years and they still want to charge me $35 for a bill that had adequate funds by the time it cleared shows that this bank, nor its employees care about the people who keep them in business.

Honestly I’m not sure how people can sleep with themselves refusing to drop a fee that they can easily drop as an employee. But if that’s what makes you happy, go for it.

I’m writing this review and now closing this account.

My husband and I have used this lender over and over. Joe, Dana, Shawn, and Jennie are always just a phone call, text, or email away from getting us exactly what we need. From home loans & refinances to auto loans, you will not be disappointed with the level of customer service that they provide! Central Bank has a small hometown bank feel with exceptional resources. The amount of branches in the Branson area also makes this my top choice. 10/10 recommend!
