Initially I chose Central House because of the affordable pricing, I’m now renewing for my 4th year and I couldn’t be happier. The maintenance team is the best part along side the monthly activities put on by the staff. I would recommend Central house to anyone that’s considering

I just renewed for my third year at CH! I’ve absolutely loved living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for student housing near campus!

I chose to live at Central House mainly because of the location. It is close to campus and there is a free shuttle that runs to campus all day. Once I moved in I realized there was so much more to the community. The spacious rooms and bathrooms are nice and it’s nice that everyone has their own bathroom. The office team puts on great events and hosts many giveaways throughout the year as well. But my favorite part of Central House is the maintenance team! Tony and his team are so friendly and always solve any problems that arise in a timely manner. I love living at Central House!

Central House is definitely the best student housing! So many amenities for such a low cost! Plus, the front desk and maintenance staff are so friendly. Any problem me and my roommates have had, they’ve handled it with such grace! We love Central House! I’ve enjoyed my experience at Central House and would recommend to anyone looking for student housing!

Love living here. It is my second year and it has still been great! Super close to campus but just far enough away!

Beware of renting to places like this that rent per bedroom. Management puts you with people that you don’t know. This property won’t let you out of your lease regardless of your circumstances. They won’t transfer you to another apartment either regardless of availability. They claim they don’t have any occupancy but my daughter’s apartment had a vacancy from January 2023 until August until the roommates from hell moved in. My daughter had to move home because she could no longer live with the girls management put her with. The property refused to do a move out inspection because they say she is responsible to pay rent until she subleases it if she can which also means she will be responsible for damages done to the apartment by these girls. Issues: the girls keep the apartment filthy, they constantly party and don’t clean up after. They continue to smoke in the apartment regardless of being warned that the lease stipulated no smoking. When my daughter went to management about the issues they just fined the girls. The girls don’t care, because the girls were over heard saying no big deal we will get the fine reduced to a warning like the last time. The girls party all the time, rarely clean the apartment, they wouldn’t empty the washer and dryer, remove dishes in sink, or pots on stove so she could use it. When she asked to remove their stuff so she could use the items she was told that she wasn’t their mother. We had to buy a fridge to put in her room because the girls refused to share the fridge in the kitchen. Our daughter lived in this complex for nearly 3 years and never had to go to management before and it took one bad roommate situation like this to ruin it. I have already contacted a few congressmen about properties like this one who force people into living with horrible roommates like these 2 girls and make them pay rent when they can’t live there anymore. Rental properties should have something in their leases to prevent roommate bullying & a out clause. My daughter had tons of photographs as evidence but it was ignored. But then again this property won’t enforce the lease anyway all they care is getting paid. Well if management won’t help people like my daughter then I will work on getting legislation passed to prevent this happening to others.

Do not rent here what so ever. I have lived here for 3 years and never had any issues until this year when I got these 2 new roommates and I have had nothing but issues. I have documented everything and still do. I have reached out to management multiple times about my roommates and she continues to do nothing about it. I recently had the same issue happen again with my roommates doing things that are against the lease after getting a “warning” by management and the manager said to let her know if it happens again then she will take further action well it happened again and she said she would get in touch with me but did she nope not a word, she promotes bad behavior, all she cares about is the money not the tenants. This manager knows I’m not comfortable or okay with what these two roommates are doing. It has affected me. The manager doesn’t care that I have told her repeatedly that I do not feel comfortable living with these two roommates; I don’t want to be around them at all, be home when they’re there. I feel secluded in my own room, can’t use the main fridge cause of them not sharing it equally so now I have a fridge in my room, I don’t feel comfortable even being out in the common area. The manager doesn’t care about your comfort, safety, peace of mind, she calls you a liar when you didn’t lie about anything. There is so much more I can put on here. The only thing and I mean the only thing good about this place is the maintenance crew, Tony the maintenance supervisor and his crew are the absolute best and actually care about the people here unlike the property manager. Maintenance is a absolute rockstar and Tony knows me by name. I appreciate Tony and his crew. I wish I could give this place no stars.

I’ve lived here for 3 years now and it’s a great environment. I absolutely adore the maintenance team who works extra hard to make sure any and all needs are met. I love that our complex puts on various events through the year. It always gives me something to look forward to outside of the stress of school!

I love it here! I already resigned my lease for next year and i’m super excited to live here again! They’re very pet friendly, lots of grassy areas to take my dog out and waste disposal bins are everywhere. The apartments are spacious so my dog has more than enough room to run around inside! I also cannot give enough props to the maintenance team here, they are fast and super friendly!

The office is open 7 days a week and everyone is very helpful. They’re always having fun events and it feels like a little community here!

Do NOT live here. I lived at Central House from Aug 2022 - July 2023, and had issues from the beginning. The appliances are cheap and always breaking, the tile floor was chipped and coming up when we moved in, our bathrooms were always having plumbing issues. It is a cheaper place to live, so I would expect lesser quality appliances. But they randomly give you fees for things throughout your lease. We had a $40 trash removal fee because we left our trashbag outside overnight since our dumpster was all the way across the complex. When we moved out, central house tried to fine my roommates and I for things that were broken before we moved in. We also left the place SPOTLESS when we moved out, it looked better than when we moved in. They tried to fine us over $300! Worth of “damages and cleaning fees. ” They did the same thing to my friend who lived in another apartment at central house. As soon as I sent pictures from when we moved out, the fees were magically gone. They’re obviously taking advantage of college students who might not ask questions and just pay the fines. It’s ridiculous and disgusting. They also bribe their residents to leave good reviews with giveaways! STAY AWAY!
