The technicians lied about coming to my house and I have been waiting over a month to get internet. I cancelled service that I never had and am sending back the modem.

Filled out the paperwork on September 26th (got the records on my phone) of this year for 120 mbps internet. Got told it would be over a month on installation for November 3. No big deal too wait a little bit right? Well day of arrives and after calling to make sure everything is still good to go. We find out that they got bought out and that the new provider is some no name company from outside of the area. No biggie.

The complaint we werent notified at all, that my service was changed and downgraded (because the new company doesnt provide the speeds we paid for).

This is the worst internet provider. Very slow speeds and if there is an outage it could take weeks to fix. Welcome to the Sloarks. Good luck getting an English speaking person on the customer service.good luck getting an human to answer.worst service ever

I had them 5 years ago. The service speed was always slow and I had scheduled a technician to come out and check it out but they NEVER showed. I was NEVER called or notified, I only found out when I called after my appointment time. I had to take the day off work and rearrange my whole schedule to be available for the technician to come out and he never showed. I was beyond infuriated so I cancelled my service immediately. I switched to Suddenlink and was SHOCKED at how much faster their lowest plan speed was than CenturyLink.

I can't give a - 0. I've been trying for 2 hours to get repair service for her land line. She is on oxygen and can't get cell reception at her house. Can't rate low enough.

I took nearly 3 months to get internet established, taking numerous calls to their customer care line and chatting with their online assistance, all who would regularly accidently hangup or give false promises on timelines. When internet was finally approved, I had to go through 3 technicians to finish installation. The last of these drove off the driveway into my newly place sod (required cutting out and replacing a 3sqft portion to repair). The line was barely buried (off my property line in a good portion) and I had to dig back up a section to correctly place it, yet CenturyLink still proceeded to charge a $300 drop fee. Upon another call to their customer care, they sited a completion date which reflected 3 weeks past when they finished the "work". I sited the documentation I had for damages and failure to perform $300 worth of labor, to which they would only offer a $50 credit.
Never have I had such terrible service from a utility provider. The fact that the State has allowed them to monopolize the area for which I reside is disgraceful.
(PS, this location within Branson is not a public location for dealing with a company employee in person. Best of luck obtaining in-person help)

There is no service with century link! They should not be allowed to be in business! They need a competition to come in you can’t even get a hold of a person to talk to there’s no recourse if your phone goes out! Just too bad they’re not gonna care!
