Chateau Grille reviews
16Our meal was 5 star fantastic! Not sure what the other low ratings are about as our experience was all around amazing. The filet mignon was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server, Mary from the Philippines was attentive and professional. Thank you for an amazing experience!
I just don’t get the negative reviews. This place brings great food with every entree. Breakfast has anything you want and the buffet is complete. Every dish we ordered over 4 days was outstanding. On my last meal I had a hamburger. Was a great burger. A great atrium to enjoy as well.
Brunch buffet was excellent! Well worth the money. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious.
Fine dining: The food as you read in other reviews is exactly as stated.
This review is for the grill with FINE Dining.
1. The atmosphere is lacking decor, sterile, for fine dining white table cloths or better tables.
2. The food lacked flavor.
Items chef special apple wrapped pork tenderloin with gnocchi and asparagus. Very small portions, the gnocchi was not traditional.cost $48
House salad was good, and the size was fair.
Brussel sprouts were hard, cold, and lacked flavor. Not glazed, not crispy.left more to be desired.
Yukon gold mashed potato. I seriously wish I had photos.
No flavor, nothing. The presentation was not a five-star restaurant. I don't flavor my food with non tons of seasoning, but this was boring.
3. The view is great.
Overall, the food for fine dining was not for $200 worthy.
This place has excellent service on non busy days. The staff is great.
The library bar is beautiful.
However, the food is pricey and needs a new flare.
Our server was good at taking care of us during our dinner visit to this restaurant. She answered questions quickly and when she didn't know went and found the answer. The food was prepared well and was tasty. I would certainly done here again.
We dined here for brunch on Sunday. I made a reservation for 11: 15, waited until 11: 35 to be sat. After getting sat, a bus boy filled our waters, but we waited for our waitress to bring drinks for 30 minutes. She didn’t walk over to our area once. Once she came over, she said she forgot about us, and apologized. We were understanding, because we were not sat directly in the main dining room. Once she brought drinks, I finished my first mimosa in hopes that when I came back from the buffet, it would be refilled; instead they had bussed and reset our entire table assuming we left, with my purse still sitting in the chair.we then waited another 30 minutes for our server to walk back over. We eventually grabbed the attention of a 3rd staff member to bring our check. After we put our card in the book, we waited another 20 minutes for the server to return with our card and copy of the receipt. I found our server, asked for our card, and we left disappointed.
This is a $45/person buffet, I would expect at least some form of hospitality or service. All of the food was cold, we waited in line for eggs benedict to be brought from the kitchen, and it came out ice cold. Absolutely disgusting. I’ve worked fine dining for years and will advise against visiting this establishment from now on.
Update: they reached out after receiving this review, and they issued a refund.i am glad that we could resolve the issue.
$45 for a very mediocre brunch. Food was hardly warm, and light on healthy options. Online said $34 so we were shocked to have a $100 bill for very not great food. Won’t be back
Terrible place. We were the only table and food took over an hour to come out. Food was mediocre, service was slow and it was expensive. Totally not worth it. Save your money
We had a large group and got a private room which was very nice. It was a hour before we got our drinks, after that the service was pretty good considering the size of our group. Because of the size of our group we were given limited meal choices The food was good not great but way over priced. The cost was over $100 per person before the tip.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant, ever. Waited 30 minutes for a bottle of wine that never came and left. The shrimp cocktail is 20 dollars and comes with 3 shrimp. I didn’t even want to pay for it, I was ready to leave. Took another 10 minutes just to get the damn bill.
Train your wait staff better, especially if you want to keep charging the ridiculous prices that you do. Could have just been our waitress but it seemed like everyone was waiting.
The hotel was nice but the restaurant is definitely not.
Average food with extremely slow service. Breakfast took an hour and a half and we had to actually get part of the meal to go because it still wasn’t ready. One of the side breakfast meats was not brought out to us, when we asked for it it was another 15 minutes and we had to remind our waitress. 10 minutes later it came out and was the wrong thing. We took it and left. Our server was friendly enough, they were probably understaffed, but the food was underwhelming too. Not with the $55 for breakfast for three. The waffles at the free continental breakfast at a Ramada earlier in our trip was better than the Belgian waffle here. The bacon and sausage were good, though. Very nice views and the rest of the hotel is great. I just can’t recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant inside was amazing! Our server Seroya was one of the best servers we’ve ever had from service to personality/attitude. Highly recommend the restaurant even if you don’t stay at the hotel
We were celebrating my mom’s birthday. The wedge salad and seafood risotto were delicious. Seroya was our server and she made the night very special. Also had a terrific view of the lake. Awesome experience
The food was bland the filet mignon steak was not a prime steak and it was cold when he came out with 3 peice of carrots mashed potatoes not seasoned at all the smoked chicken was horrible…. The waitress was good…
Great service, lots of variety on the brunch. I recommend the restaurant, and do not recommend the spa.
Wow that's about all that needs to be said.we will stay away from the restaurant and Cafe in the hotel.we tried the Cafe and it was ok the cost was high for what you get but it's the convenience you payfor.but everything else from the time we got there to the time we left by far, the best hotel we have stayed in at branson and we come down several times a year. I recommend this place 100%. The marina wasn't opened when we were there the times we went down there but in their defense it was raining.we will be back and use the boat rentals at the resort forsure!
