Kyle McClain. The name says it all. He is just as talented as John McClain at conflict resolution! His office is very inviting, so unlike John McClain, you will not know what a TV dinner feels like. In all seriousness, Kyle is a phenomenal counselor. My husband and I believe counseling is an integral part of a healthy relationship. If you listen to Kyle and heed his advice, you will come around a corner saying, "Thanks for the advice (without any expletives of course) " You will definitely walk out of his office with several new tool in your arsenal. If you do the work, you and your spouse can step into your newly, liberated relationship like John McClain and his wife Holly at the end of Die Hard! Thanks so much Kyle! You are one of a kind. We have met with numerous counselors, but none have had such a profound impact in our lives as you have and we are blessed to have met you.

Absolutely love the service and experience at CCA. As a practice they foster a professional, empathetic and authentic culture. As individuals they have helped me and my family become healthier and wiser with a deeper understanding of God’s grace. I’ve been working with Jeff for a few years. He is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced, and has a great sense of humor. He’s supported me through several hard situations. I continue to be educated by him- he’s greatly increased my emotional intelligence, and has helped me grow in my understanding of myself and others in my life. He’s also helped me with setting boundaries. I’ve recommended the group to several people- they will match a new client to a therapist for them if they aren’t sure who to choose for themselves. I think that’s wonderful because it’s a large group, and a good fit is so important. They also have support groups and seminars on various topics.

I am so happy with CCA. Their counselors care and are truly committed to helping their clients. I’ve been with this practice since relocating to St. Louis a year ago and it is by far the best experience I have ever had. My experience at CCA has positively changed the trajectory of many relationships in my life and for that I am forever grateful.

Chesterfield Counseling Associates offers several workshops and classes in addition to individual coaching and counseling. I have attended workshops on grief, forgiveness, and boundaries in relationships. I have also attended parenting round-table discussions featuring counselors from CCA. All of these provide practical tools for real life situations.

The CCA offices are comfortable and private. There is always ample parking. There are many counselors and coaches to accommodate each person's needs, preferences and schedule.

One of the workshop coaches wrote a book that is a hope-filled guide for anyone who finds themselves "lost" in a difficult relationship. What I appreciate most about this book is that it helps the reader to shift focus away from their "difficult person" so they can work on helping themselves. If you're interested, the book is "And Then You Went Missing" by Sonja Meyrer.

I would highly recommend CCA. Several years ago I had a very negative counseling experience elsewhere, and I intended never to go again. Two years ago I was in a bad place dealing with high anxiety and grief. Through some encouragement of trusted people in my life I decided to try counseling one more time. My counselor has been absolutely amazing, helping me through my anxiety, and helping me let go of things that were a giant weight. I am familiar with many of the counselors here, as well as the owners, and they are all wonderful and compassionate people.

CCA has a nice clean comfortable setting for a counseling session. My experience with my counselor has been fantastic. With my counselor’s knowledge direction and thoughtful insight I have made significant improvement in knowing and understanding myself. This has allows me to improved many of my relationships with others. I can’t speak highly enough about my counselors knowledge and professionalism. I have been to several other counselors in the past and never felt comfortable and quickly ended visits. With my CCA counselor I’ve felt comfortable almost from the very beginning sharing anything. I continue to visit on a regular basis when I’m having struggles. Go see Kyle he is amazing!

This is a wonderful counseling practice. Counselors are very caring and quick to respond. I have recommended them for years to friends and family.

Chesterfield Counseling and Associates was not our family's first stop in seeking counseling but it will be our last. The counselors here are the most caring, committed, and wise professionals we've ever met. They are solution oriented and always patient centered. No matter the reason you seek counseling I am confident you will find a counselor with whom you are comfortable and meets your expectations. This practice has been life saving and affirming for our family. We cannot thank them enough!

The facilities are the nicest I've ever been to. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. They made sure that I was matched with the right counselor in December 2020. I am still with her because of the quality of care and attention I am given. I have really matured in some very necessary ways, and my growth has been evident to those around me. I would with out a doubt recommend Chesterfield Counseling Associates.

Compassionate, excellent therapy from a an amazing team of professionals. Also a great range of expertise. Kyle has helped me so much thru the absolute worst storms of my life and his relational insights have been fundamental for me as I heal and rebuild. Cindy was amazing at helping me and my teen (newly diagnosed with OCD) communicate and develop good tools and coping skills. I’m especially impressed by how everyone here works together to provide a welcoming and calm atmosphere and make sure each patient receives what they need.

I had a wonderful internship experience at CCA. The team of counselors at CCA is amazing! The clinicians are highly skilled and CITs receive great supervision. The founders, Jeff and Sandy, are very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend CCA to anyone in search of a therapist or to any clinician looking for a wonderful place to practice.

I love CCA! My daughter saw a counselor there because she was struggling with anxiety. I pretty much forced her to go. She told me she wasn't going to talk to a stranger about her thoughts, feeling, and fears. To appease me, she reluctantly agreed to go but warned, “Don’t expect me to talk when I get there! ” (Flashback to my oldest daughter saying the EXACT same thing to me 15 years before when I took her to see a therapist! – and she didn’t talk, just sat there in silence). We scheduled an appointment with Wonmin, received reminders (which was very helpful to my forgetful self) and my daughter and I were both a little anxious – she because she would rather be invisible than talk to anyone and Me, because I was afraid I would say something wrong, proving that I am the reason my daughter wants to be invisible. The anxiety melted away the minute I walked into the office. These may seem like small things, but the office feels like a home away from home – soft lighting & music, nice smell, with warm, inviting décor that seems to say, “Hey trusted friend…come over here and curl up on the couch and tell me everything! ” Wonmin greeted us with a smile, offered us a drink (water, soda, coffee) and snacks (M&Ms – yes please!), walked us into her office and told us to pick a seat wherever – the couch, the chair, the floor – wherever we felt most comfortable. From there, we just chatted (and my daughter joined in too!). Wonmin let us know day one that if she wasn’t a good fit, she would refer us to someone who was a good fit, which I really appreciated. With Wonmin, we learned about epigenetics and how the brain works and how healing happens through sharing our thoughts, fears, and struggles in a safe place. My daughter and I were given tools that we could use anywhere, and at any time, to help with the anxiety. (I also learned that my daughter may just do anything I say if I promise soda and candy as part of the deal). In my 54 years, I have walked into four counseling offices for various reasons and after one visit have never returned…until CCA.
