Chesterfield Fence & Deck Company

Do not use this company. They are dishonest and do not warranty their products. When their product fails they run away and have the homeowner deal with the issues themselves.

We had a 6 foot wooden privacy fence installed around the backyard of our new house and it looks amazing! Karen, Laura and Danielle were all very helpful in planning for the fence, and the team showed up on-time the day of and stayed well into the night to make sure the project was finished. Exceeded expectations!

They installed a beautiful deck for me in 2015, which needed to be removed due to sewar repairs in 2922. They evaluated the situation and ended up replacing a large portion under warranty work. They used new and enhanced products to meet current code and did a fabulous job. They stand by their work and I highly recommend their. Services.

Great company to work with, and they provide great products! Ask for Greg Lewis! Professional, responsive, and he went above and beyond to replace our deck lights even when they weren't under CFD warranty any longer, and he didn't have to. Would highly recommend CFD and Greg if you're considering a deck!

Chesterfield Fence and Deck completed our Veka deck project today and the two-person crew did a terrific job! They worked quickly and carefully, left the worksite in a very orderly condition each afternoon, and completed the deck as we had envisioned. Great value and professional work!

Of the three bids I got, Chesterfield Fencing was the best price. They also were one of the better companies as far as communication.

During the bid, Drew was great about pricing different options out. He walked me through their financing process for payment overtime.

I was able to get my fence installed about three months after the initial bid (quick timeframe this year it seemed based on other quotes).

A young man showed up day of and was very polite and thorough in reviewing the yard with me before the installation team started. I appreciated he also walked the project with me afterwards to make sure there wasn’t anything I saw as needing correction. Everyone was very nice and worked effectively the entire day. I had a 4’ gate along with 135’ feet of fencing installed. My neighbor has pre-existing Vinyl fencing that Chesterfield Fencing was able to add right to and match perfectly. I’m extremely happy with the results and look forward to now being able to get another sibling for my dog. Thanks to the entire team at Chesterfield Fencing. I highly recommend their company.

On September 14 2022 three men from Chesterfield Fence and Deck came and removed my old deck to build a new one and they were completely amazing. Please if you need a new deck or fence use this company they are completely awesome.

I recently had a vinyl fence installed on my patio. A gentleman and his helper (did not get there names) who did the concrete and paint work, along with the fence installer, Kenny and his helper led by the field supervisor, Gerald completed the job in a timely and well coordinated fashion. I was very happy with the salesman Sam and the installers who put in my fence. They worked 2 days completing the installation around an acre of my property.
Wanted to update my post and send a big thank you to Rudy and his assistant Latif for fixing a small problem with my fence. Rudy stayed in touch with me over the last three weeks and finished the problem professionally and then went further and adjusted my gate. Highly recommend this company and will have them install the fence for my son's fence for his new house. Thanks Rudy.

I recently had Chesterfield Fence and Deck install a deck for me. The installer Hamza was amazing. He was on time, professional and did a fabulous job! All of my neighbors were amazed at how quickly he installed my new deck. And he did it by himself with no help. He was phenomenal! I can’t say enough about what an amazing job he did! I recommend Chesterfield Fence and Deck to anyone who wants quality work at an affordable price!

Worst contractor experience EVER!

In a word, HORRIFIC! ZERO commitments met, ZERO communication, ZERO customer service! It took a full year to get our fence installed. We understand the problems of pandemic and supply but every step of the way there was ZERO communication from Chesterfield Fence and Deck. We had to call a week after the initial install date to find out why our fence was not installed. They said it was a two-week delay and would be installed then. Three weeks later, we had to call again to find out why it wasn’t installed! Every single commitment missed and the customer had to reach out after the missed install dates every time.

They took a full four weeks to submit the order so It would be “absolutely perfect. ” When the install team showed up, the project manager had screwed up the order and didn’t order enough posts. They were short by 18 based on the order. That day, they brought out two different sets of posts, all the wrong size so we had to wait another several more weeks with a partial fence installed.

The only communication we received the entire process that was initiated by CFD was to demand payment…MONTHS before the fence was installed. After it was finally complete, we received an invoice dated five weeks prior to completion and a call the next day demanding payment. With that invoice, we couldn’t register for the manufacturer warranty (30 days after install). We requested a correctly dated invoice and we got a past due bill and several calls to demand payment because we were overdue. After multiple texts and calls, we had to drive down there to demand a correct invoice. They couldn’t be bothered to do the right thing and correct their mistake until faced directly by the customer.

These are only a few of the highlights of this complete debacle. It was a nightmare from the minute we handed them our deposit. Avoid these people like the plague. This was, by far, the worst customer experience I have ever had with a company. Absolutely frustrating. When your customer has to call to find out that you missed your commitment dates, repeatedly, there is something VERY wrong. We are HUGE supporters of local businesses but this is a company that has completely lost focus and sight of their customers and, it saddens me to say, needs to close. I could not be more disappointed. Good riddance… A fly-by-night operation would be half the price and have much better customer service and support.

God help me if I need warranty work… I wouldn’t trust them to do what’s right.

Sam and his team of three hispanic professionals installers (sorry I do not have there individual names) completed installation of a wooden fence at my home on July 6,2022 after several delays. This team of professionals persevered to resolve all issues to complete this job. My wife and I are truly happy with the outstanding job performed by this team to install our new fence. You are truly the A team of this company.
