Called CMH nurse help line for my sick 10 month old. The nurse instructed me to come to this location and be here before 8 pm. Arrived here at 7: 03pm and was told my son couldn’t be seen because they don’t take walk ins after 7pm. The nurse told me I need to drive to Overland Park Er Or Downtown Er. I’m so frustrated and angry.

The building is clean, the staff are professional and awesome, and my granddaughter has always received excellent care. Recommend to anyone with children

You know I understand thing are busy I’m a frustrated parent but doctor Addington should never speak to a parent like she did to myself. I’m unsure what she was trying to say on her way out the door but I know she pointed her finger towards me which was surely somewhat threatening in my eyes when it happen. I felt the professionalism she’s supposed to have was not there, especially after telling her i’ve been up since 4 a.m. Just picked him up from daycare came straight here we’re tired he’s hungry and need a bath an changed. Not to mention she turned the t.v. Off when I was clearly watching it. Jeanna James, Lonna Anderson, ect.whoever should speak to this individual and reach out to me if you would need anymore information

We were in and out of here, versus when we went to the nearest emergency room and waited 4 hours. The staff was sooo nice to my daughter, they made her feel so much better even when she was super sick and down. They immediately knew what was wrong with her.thank you all so much for being in this health care industry! I would definitely recommend this facility to all parents ️

Had to take my sick toddler here as my pediatricians office wasn’t taking walk-ins that day (which is a whole other annoying story). We were back in the room for MAYBE 10 minutes. The dr listened to his breathing and took his blood pressure, that was it. The nurse gave him a Covid test and we went home to wait for the results. A few weeks later I get a bill for over $500 after I already paid $50 the day of. My insurance won’t pay anything because I haven’t hit my deductible. They won’t negotiate the bill down either. This is price gouging, they charge this ridiculous amount because they can, and people like me who actually care about their credit will have to pay it. There is no way this visit should cost anywhere near this much.

You never know what you have until you go to another facility and see how things could be. Hah

Thank God for this location. The people we've encountered are a breath of fresh air.
All else considered, we have always had a pleasant experience and Debra up front has gone above and beyond to help make things easier. Im not sure she could ever know what her helpfulness and kindness means to us.

Also to add Vivian in labs. Amazing. Truly. She's incredibly patient and easy on our baby. We love when she's available to do his lab work.

We worry about our child especially around time to come in, but we feel he is in good hands here and the staff are all empathetic to us and. Just thank you. ️

Brought my son in to get looked at when he was having a hard time breathing. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind.

Charged us $50 at time of service. Insurance says we only owed $34. Never recieved a refund, and their hours of service to call for billing are terrible. No other way to contact them.

Update: When customer service is open, they are very helpful.

Didn't even think to look in the ears when you've got a kid with cold, fever etc. SMH!

I was so disappointed in the lack of transparency when it comes to being seen (setting appointments vs.walk-ins). I drove 25 minutes to have my child seen by a children's mercy provider as our pediatrician is an affiliate. I called ahead to confirm hours because that's all that I had time for- however, when I arrived I was informed that no walk-ins were allowed. I had to scramble to find nearby urgent care for my child during a desperate time. It would've been very helpful to have this information heard during my call, via the automated message.

Check-in was very quick and easy. Staff was professional and caring. In and out in under 3 hours which I consider great for any walk-in medical care especially when stitches are involved.

I really appreciated how child friendly it was. It obviously needs to be that way, but it was a much better experience with my kid than it would have been at a non-child specific care area.

I've been taking my daughter here since she was a baby. We've always had professional service and good experiences here. They are very organized and the wait was never too long. They have security on the main floor in order to keep everyone safe. You sign in on a computer and wait to be called to window, in order to be able to get seen in the correct department.

Everytime I have been here when I was younger with an illness I was misdiagnosed or told I have nothing wrong with me. Going to another doctored greatly improved my health and help me get ride of medical issues I had.

If you're not accepting new patients, then update your insurance partners that you aren't accepting new patients. Using 2 different insurance search tools they both said CME is accepting new patients, yet when you call they make you wait on hold for 15 minutes just to say they aren't. We will just take our business somewhere else then.

Our son went in after vomiting 3 times. The check-in process was super easy. We waited 15 minutes then they called us back. Once back nurse Lauren took great care of us. Then Dr. Jones came back with the medical student and they were phenomenal!

We’ll be back.thank you CME… you rock!

This place was efficient and so helpful with everything I needed. All the people from the front staff to the x ray tech were excellent and kind. I couldn't have ask for a better experience with a hurt child.

Checked in downstairs no problem just fine took our temp gave us new masks told us to head upstairs to the green side, again no problem we get upstairs and we stand here wait at the front desk you have SEVERAL people at the desk talking no one acknowledged my daughter and I at all! No hi we will be with you in just a moment or have a seat we will call you up in a moment nothing! We took it upon ourselves to just have a seat!

Went to urgent care and had done the save my spot. Go upstairs wait and wait. I finally went to desk she said she called our name twice. She was very rude. I explained you cannot call our name before we get out of the elevators. She was extremely rude. Had appt for 12: 24 it is 1: 34 still have not seen a dr.
