Chimichanga's Mexican Restaurant, St. Louis MO

Love this place! Convenient, reasonable, lots of neighborhood folks, friendly, great Margaritas. The food is reasonable plentiful and delicious. Never had a bad experience there.

They have the best margaritas and salsa. I wish the chip to go bags were filled all the way but the food is good enough to make up for that. Small business and local. Check it out.

I ordered delivery. It came on time. That was the best part. I ordered the carne asada dinner. Standard Mexican fare. It was bland, tough, and the beans, rice and guacamole were no better. This wasn't the first time my food was subpar. I kept trying because when they first opened, for the first two years, it was good. I won't ever eat here again. Sad because I love to eat locally and support small businesses.

This place is accurately named as it has the best steak chimichangas and salsa in St. Louis. I get it everytime, and I go here often. Definitely recommend!

Food is always good. Service could be better. Calling in an order was just too much. It is better to sit and eat. My steak was chewy.

The food is not bad but three soft steak tacos with just meat and tortillas, shouldn't be $6.50. Should've seen the way it was put in the box.

Salsa is excellent. Just the right amount of jalapeño. Very tasty Cadillac margarita! Chimichanga (chicken) was large with plenty of chicken. The meat was a little dry and lacked a lot of flavor. Aren't chimichangas usually fried?

Everything there is great! Surprisingly, the BEST catfish around! Margaritas are AWESOME, too! Service is, sometimes spotty, but overall, highly recommend. Patio opens SOON!

The food was very good! Their chips were little pieces of crispy delights, the Margaritas were very tasty, and the service was great! Prices were very reasonable. We will be back! Highly recommend.

Kinda disappointed as this is one of favorites to go. We ate chips and no one gave us drinks or asked for our order so we left very disappoint

I love this mexican restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is very attentive and they provide fast service. The decor and atmosphere is very relaxing that has nice music playing in the background. My favorites are the chips and reasonably priced drinks. I've been here a few times, and plan on going here again in the future!

The food was very good, but the staff, and the customers were a blast. I felt like part of the party as soon as I walked in. Not a place to just come in and eat. Come in and enjoy the full ambiance while you eat.

Fastest service and always delicious food. My favorite is the shrimp nachos with a side of chihuahua cheese (queso) and a peach frozen daiquiri

Nice quaint family restaurant, a nice texmex food place. Service is always nice unless its busy, but thats always an issur at busy places

Updated review: We have been loyal customer’s for over 5 years! Today we came and had the most terrible thing happen. After ordering our meal and starting to enjoy it, a roach ran across the table. My husband politely killed it and took it to our waiter. (Lucky for them because if I would’ve seen it the entire building would have known.) They were kind enough to discount our meal (which was left on the table.) No worries though. It was our last time there ‍️

Original review: Good authentic Mexican food with hot wings to die for

This place used to be my spot. For some reason, the service and food started to decline a little, but is still good. Still have a lot of love for it, but the service needs to improve. There are some good waiters there, but definitely a few busters last time I went. My only real complaint about it is the hosting. For some reason there will be people waiting, but there will be a ton of open tables. Not sure what that is about.
