China Inn Restaurant reviews
15 I’ve never wrote a review this fast. But my order is now sitting in the trash. This is by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. First off, why are the pieces of chicken the size of baseballs? How am I supposed to eat that? It left it flavorless. And what flavor it does have is disgusting! The rice is stale and no flavor. The sauces on the chicken taste like something out of Walmart. I’m beyond frustrated with this order. Trash.
Edit to reply -My name is on this review. Pretty easy to connect the dots to refund me for this order that’s probably been warm for hours before throwing it in a to go box for me to not enjoy. Chicken nugget? No, these are large chunks of burnt fat. No clue how you have positive reviews. I have never been this disappointed in a restaurant in my entire life.

Horrible! Won't go back! I had the honey chicken and the chicken was grease logged. Was sick for 2 days after. This place definitely went down hill.
Great fresh tasty food. Every piece of meat from shrimp, beef and chicken was very tender and moist. Service was excellent and quick. Most pleased with our dine out meal. Will recommend to family and friends.
Moo-Shi combo to die for! My man brought me here 5 months ago before found out was pregnant ever since this is my absolute favorite place to eat! Everything and Everyone Every Time Amazing! We've gotten take out an dine in no matter how or what you order Amazing!
The chicken fried rice I ordered tasted like fish and tasted like it was left over from a day or two. Yuck!
By far the worst restaurant in Marshall, food not good, customer service even worse. The new owners have definitely ran what once was a great business in the ground
Fried wontons with pork, had no pork- I opened each one up after I ate the first 1 and none of them contained any pork whatsoever- pork fried rice was excellent though- they made it how I ordered it.
The food changed when the owners changed. The old recipes and ingredients are what people want. This food is still edible but it isn't something that makes me want to go back. The old China Inn kept people coming back their entire life. This has always been the best Chinese place and I hate that these changes are ruining it. The things we eat that no longer taste right are sesame chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, general chicken, and chicken fried rice. None of it tastes right. We won't be returning unless the food goes back to the original recipes. So disappointed that this happened.
Got vegetarian lo mein. Very good. Can dine in, but I took mine home. Good atmosphere and great staff. Highly recommend.
Nice people. Food was good, but the orange chicken wasn't bite sized, so it was kind of a challenge to eat without a knife.
I went there on a Friday night at 5pm. Had dinner. I was there about a hour and was the only customer to dine in. Unusual for a Friday night don't you think?
It is a really good Chinese restaurant, if not the best one I have been to. The prices aren't bad at all and the food is amazing. I definitely recommend this place.
Got food from here once and have never returned, at the bottom of my cup of rice there was a big rock, I wouldn't suggest eating in Marshall, MO anyways I always get food poisoning from these restaurants, probably cause these people don't know how to wash their hands, considering the fact that they don't even wear masks here
Always hot, fresh, and fast. I visit Marshall twice a year and China Inn is always on the itinerary.
This is the place if you want to have REAL Chinese food. The portion size is outstanding. The people who don't like the food have no idea what REAL Chinese food tastes like. Always friendly and fast service. Food is always hot. The flavors and taste of the food is awesome. I have eaten at other countless Chinese food places in different states and cities and none of them are anywhere close on how good the food tastes at this place. I am a very picky person when it comes to Chinese food.
