China Wok reviews
12Got beef chow mein and all it was was beef and cabbage no noodles or other vestibules at all. The tables were all broken with pieces missing and sharp pieces sticking up. Will not be going again
I order happy family and white rice, I won’t recommend this place, I found a worm on my rice, you guys can see the picture here, not healthy place!
Um, went in there thinking I was about to come out broke. But came out with heafty weighted bag of food and money to spare. Prices are outta this world, for sure glad I went with them and not taco bell.
I've experienced them via doordashing and though I don't know his name, he usually works solo and during the evenings? For sure waved to him at a gas station once. He's absolutely awesome, definitely a great place of business to visit.
Quick service. I had beef with broccoli.not so good. It was just bland. My husband had szecchuan beef and said the same thing about his food.
Got beef fried rice it was excellent. Thank you so much for not serving that dry yellow rice with peas and carrots like so many places in Jefferson County! I will definitely be back.
Food is ok! I got the sweet and sour chicken, and it was the Bomb! The rice ain't that great at all it's dry very dry and hard, the egg rolls don't taste right but the sweet and sour is delish I have to say that part was great. The Egg drop soup was excellent! My son got the lo mein I tried his noodles, and they were out of this world, so next time no rice only lo mein, Crab ragoon were fabulous as well, so no egg rolls, order more crab Ragoons. I think what it was we caught them as they were closing up, so I gave them extra stars cause of the effort and because they did stay over even though to make and deliver our food.
First time here. Good lunch. We had curry shrimp and pork egg foo yung with the gravy on the side. The wonton soup that came with the lunch was really good and was served steaming hot. May or may not stop by again, but glad we tried it.
If you like Chinese food this place is perfect. The Lunch special is such a good deal, for only $6 you get a lot of good tasting food. Make sure it's before 3pm, the lunch special is only good till then. Service is definitely not the best they should really hire someone that speaks good English, however, since I just do carryout I don't mind. It's not the healthiest food, but it is definitely better than most fast food places.
The food is usually good. You can tell when they are frying food with old oil though it has a fishy taste on everything. The reason for the 2 stars is that the last 2 times I went in here it smelled like dirty baby diapers and the dining room is filthy. It’s a daycare/restaurant now. Always employees kids playing in dining room. Fingerprints all over the window and doors greasy dusty dirty! The covid shield by register has turned into a giant Petri dish. Just walking in the dining room I lose my appetite every time, so I had my son pick it up so he could see what I’m talking about and he doesn’t want to eat there any more after he experienced the filthy dining room. PLEASE CLEAN YOUR RESTAURANT.
I've been coming here for years but after last night I think I'm finally done. The food is actually pretty good most of the time but the service is awful! Never once have they said "thank you", "hello", "gave a good day" or anything of that sort. They are quite rude and many times incredibly slow.
Last night (a Tuesday) I called in an order at 5: 15pm. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived promptly at 5: 30pm, paid, and proceeded to wait another 35 minutes!
As I sat and waited, people came in off of the street, ordered food, received it, ate it in the restaurant and left before I got mine. How is it that I call in a small order (two entrees and a starter) and it takes 50 minutes, but other people's similarly sized orders take 10 minutes? And it's certainly not the first time this happened here, but it's the last time it will happen here to me. Too many other places around!
Crab ragoons are really good. Didn't have any flavor in the Hickenlooper fried rive except oil
