Christopher W. Palmer, DO reviews
17Dr Palmer explained what was going on with my knees and what to expect moving forward. Looking forward to getting my new knee. I feel like I am in very good hands
Was very pleased with my appt. Dr Palmer explained my knee problem throughly and recommended the best treatment.
Absolutely the best, very respectful and courtesy. They take the and ask questions about what is going on with your problems. Did more on my first visit than the other doctors did in five months. Highly recommend this group.
Dr. Palmer explained the surgery very clearly and answered all my questions. Everything he said made sense and he spent ample time making sure I understood.
Dr. Palmer was very attentive and thorough regarding my hip, which needs to be replaced. He gave me all my options and told me to call if I need him in the future. Very happy with my appointment.
From the moment I walked in, all of the assistants were polite and professional. Dr. Palmer thoroughly explained my condition along with the steps I should take to address it.
Dr Palmer was very informative with my questions pertaining to a future knee replacement. His assistant, Serenity was also very good letting me know the pre and after surgery procedures.
They even have me taking 2 pre surgery physical therapies to learn stretching and strengthening which will aid in my complete recovery
The facility was clean and easy to find. The staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. I had a very, very short wait and got back to the examination room within just a few moments of being checked in and then just a few moments later was already being seen by the doctor and his assistant. Needless to say, the outcome was everything I hoped it would be. I would recommend Dr. Palmer to any and all of my family and friends.
Dr Palmer makes sure you understand with what is wrong with your knees. How he wants to proceed to get you to the best you an be.
Very caring and professional doctor as well as his staff. Discussed options with me about issues with my knees. Seemed genuinely concerned.
Would not recommend. My first interaction with his PA, Lisa, was dismissive. She refused to listen to me, gave me a cortisone shot and sent me on my way. When they finally did an MRI the Dr.missed the complete ACL rupture. He performed surgery on my meniscus, saw the rupture, closed me up and went in two weeks later to replace the ACL. Long story short - he put in a graft that was too large. After complaining about additional pain, he performed another MRI and said it looked “wavy” but that it was fine.
I got a second opinion- this doctor had to go in a perform a notch plasty to make more room for the graft and repair another meniscus tear.
Palmer is either incompetent or just didn’t care enough to read my MRI and provide honest feedback and own up to his mistakes the first go-around.
My suggestion - if you find yourself in his office, get a second opinion before you let him open you up.
I have been treated by Dr. Palmer for several years now. His care, concern and knowledge of orthopedic issues make him the total physician package. I trust him totally. He is always kind, attentive and the best surgeon anyone could ask for. He recently performed a total knee replacement for me. My surgery went beautifully, full recovery, and he has given me my left knee mobility back.
I highly recommend Dr. Palmer, an excellent and skilled surgeon!
Dr. Palmer was kind, knew exactly what was wrong, gentle with me as my range of motion was limited, did not rush me when I was explaining my injury and past history.
Visit was very good. I was able to view the X-rays and Dr. Palmer explained all my options. I made a choice and was told of procedures and probable outcome. Very professional. He was highly recommended by my primary Dr.and my physical therapist.
My sister and my mom have been patients for knee issues with Dr. Palmer and he’s been outstanding! I overheard our pre op nurse this morning during intake (Kaleb-who was so sweet) say good morning to him and Dr. Palmer made sure he came over to Kaleb to say good morning and that he appreciated Kaleb and Kaleb’s response to us was “that Dr is so awesome, he’s the best of the best, everyone loves him” that speaks volumes to me as a nurse’s daughter.
Staff was polite and efficient-not distracted. Dr. Palmer’s nurse and the doctor himself spent time with me. Radiology in-house with great techs-got me back in the exam room quickly. I felt Dr. Palmer gave me his full attention and concern, fully explaining everything and making sure my questions were answered.
I met with Dr. Palmer at Signature Orthopedic to discuss my knee pain. I was very interested in the robotic replacement with reduced recovery time. He thoroughly explained the process and answered all my questions. I was very happy with my decision and feel safe in his care. I’m scheduled for replacement and can’t wait to recover.
