Chuck's Boots, St Peters MO

A couple days I came into this store a young man working there seems racist. I came in looking for some work boots and the lady asked for somebody on the intercom to come down and help me. He came and I tried to thank him but it seems like he snuggled it off giving me a weird and it was like he was unmotivated to help me. I noticed a black man was also looking for him from this young but he treated him the same way but some reason this white couples comes asking him for help and he treats them with pure respect.

Great selection of work, western, and anything you could ask for in a boot or shoe. The service was great and spot on. I called to check to see if they had a pair in stock, size, width.and when I got there they were pulled at the counter for me to try on.

Yeah I called the St. Peter’s location yesterday 1/17/23 at 12: 32 PM to see if my boots were ready for pickup and the dude that picked up the phone was a rude condescending guy the entire time. I hung up on him while he was mid sentence becoming increasingly argumentative and snappy. I decided not to speak my mind to such an ill mannered employee. His negative, accusatory attitude led me to not purchasing around $200 worth of new boots I needed. I’ve heard good things about other locations but the mid rivers needs to get some nicer people if they are going to bring more customers. Horrible experience, and the guy needs to be talked to so he doesn’t lose this business more money. I don’t care how bad a day you’re having, it’s not that hard to be polite with another person. Politeness is a basic mannerism that is usually learned at a young age, and he has no other excuse.

Have a lot of men's and woman's boots. Also have motorcycle boots and motorcycle jackets. Have work boots and slot more clothes.

I just had a racist experience at this location. I have been coming to thia location for at least 12 years for my work boots don't know if it's a new employee but I will. Never return.

A young man named Avery, was able to help me find some work boots for my driving position. He was friendly and took the time to ask me what I really needed for work. Thanks Avery!

I bought a pair of boots back in August at the Gravois location. I bought boots from them for years and the people are always super nice and great deal with. After only 2 months the soul began to separate from the boot. I went back to the Gravois location and they were super happy to replace the boots for me. Unfortunately they did not have the size I needed in stock so I went to the Saint Peter's location. The gentleman was holding the boots at the counter for me. When I explained to him that it was a warranty issue and I had a receipt signed from the other store to show him, he immediately had a attitude. I was wearing the boots that had the issue and he demanded that I give them to him while standing at the counter with other customers around. It was very rude and embarrassing to be treated that way. I asked if there was a place I could sit down to put my new boots, he chuckled at me and said there's one in every aisles. I was just going to walk out of the store barefoot with boots in hand, but there was a bench by the door. I will never go back to that location. It is a great place, but make sure you go to Gravois.

Unbelievable amount of boot selections. Have bought many pairs from here. Very friendly staff. The Hey Dude selection for both men and women is a good amount!

Love buying boots here. Both my wife and I have bought ours here. Wife even bought some casual shoes. If you need boots, they have what you want. Be prepared to spend some time, they have every type you might want and some you didn't even know existed.

First time being in there. Was very nice and clean. LOTS of boots, haha.asked for help and the man was very nice and very helpful.

Reasonable prices for the quality of the boots. Great selection, friendly and helpful salespeople. The boots are very comfortable. Highly recommend shopping here.

I have bought all my boots here for years, despite prices being rather high. No more. They are choosing to be part of the problem instead of the solution by not having any sort of mask policy and allowing customers and staff to walk around maskless and helping to stretch this dangerous pandemic out even longer. Shame. Oh well. Mask mandates will be here on January 20.

Big selection of boots, however the employee's do not know how to properly measure shoes using a Brannock Device. They attempted to fit me with regular width boots, when in all reality I am a 4E+. Makes you wonder how many people are leaving the store with potential foot pain/problems because of ignorant employees.

I went on a quest to find boots made in America and found them here. Chippewa since 1901. These guys have more boots than you can shake a stick at.

Great selection even in the large size (mens 14W) that we were looking for. Found a good pair at a good price. Will definitely be back.

Went to go buy boots for work as i work in the cold. The worker that was working at the time recommended me to buy boots of 800 grams of insulation when i used them for work they did not work, my feet were still cold at work using them so i tried to go and exchange them for 1000 gram insulation boots and they would not let me exchange the boots. I paid $170 for the boots and can not use them as they're not good enough for my job, workers should not recommended boots if they don't know what they're talking about.

I like their boots so much that I bought the exact same pair 3 times now. I buy Carhartt steel toe 8 in tall boots. Enjoy your day.
