Contacted the company via phone to sell paintings i had enherited. Spoke with a woman on the phone, she was kind at first until i described what i had, how id acquired them and my goal for them was. She was clearly refraining from laughing at my lack of knowledge in art and the auction process. She eventually said " well if you'd like we can have our person review them if you email us photos of your art and we will reply within 48 hours usually. " I said great i appreciate your time.
The person whom i sent them to replied to my email very quickly and stated my art was too contemporary and they could not show it.
I replied showing him a screen shot of your website's main page (which has the same style and even painting of the same objects) confused. I asked him if he could direct me to somewhere else. No reply. Called. Got hung up on.
Its clear you feel something is off about my paintings, since you will not reply nor will you speak on the phone like a gentleman or even someone respectable would. I felt compelled to reply via every review online possible to maybe make a difference in how you treat people, since you arent man enough to reply to a simple email. Im sure ill get some nasty replies or none at all. But be careful what you say and to whom you speak it. All books are not as they appear.

Was blown away by how friendly and responsive this team was from the start. They did an amazing job of representing a unique piece of mine that other auction houses had turned down and even got double the price of the nearest comparable piece for me! Highly suggest consigning or buying from them, they are a very professional outfit.

Amazing place to consign art and furniture, they really take care of you and do what they can to present the pieces in the best way possible to get you top dollar. Totally pleased! Also, fun to shop what other people have consigned as they always get the best items KC has to offer.

This was my first auction experience with Circle. The process flowed smoothly with offering online pre-auction time to review the offered items and placing online bids. There were also 2 days to actually view the auction items at the Circle showroom prior to the auction. In addition, Circle offers a complimentary delivery service to auction winners within a defined radius location. My only negative, please remember a 19% service fee based on the purchase price will be applied by Circle for services rendered. Overall, it was a positive experience.
