Circle K, Hillsboro MO

Parking lot could do with some patchwork and clean up in some small spots.

So I've been coming to this circle k for damn near 10 years and have always gotten my polar pops free for being military, law enforcement gets this as well, but was told just a few minutes ago by the older man who works the mid day shift that military (even military police) don't get free polar pops, only cops because and I quote " theres a big difference" I don't know how serving as a soldier, rather than a police officer, are that different to pay $1.09 especially when the local cops (Hillsboro police) are as lack luster as it gets. I don't care about paying the two dollars, it's about the principle of him going out of his way to down play military service. I wasn't some combat war hero, but I have a feeling this attitude wouldn't go over so well with a combat veteran who expects a simplicity like that to be honored as it is for the police.

Normally a good station to go to. Be warned when visiting during 3rd shift/ate 2nd shift hours. If you don't want to use the self check out, there are a couple of employees that will behave as though it is the biggest inconvenience on their lives that they have to cash you out. No all of them but it is quite frustrating to get home after a long day and be met with rude employees at a station that I have used for 12+ years.

CARWASH FAIL, CORPORATE NON RESPONSIVE! Employees not much help either. The carwash spinner caught my passenger side mirror (yes I pulled it in before entering) and pulled it backwards-breaking it 100%! I turned in a claim several weeks ago, called corporate, made several trips back to find out the status and nothing! I got estimate as requested but when I took it back they wouldn't even take pictures of it to turn it in. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT TOLD ME TO GET AN ESTIMATE FOR GOSH SAKES! My next step is to file with small claims court!
