City Museum reviews
15So much more of a workout than imagined. It was a once in a life time experience. My only complaint is the area around the museum is really dirty. Like the sidewalks and roads have trash everywhere and it's just not the best area.
Awesome place for kids but super busy! Recommend getting there pretty early to avoid the crowds or going on a weekday. Purchase tickets in advance!
Fun place to visit, but parking is a scam. It had a sign in front of the lot that said 15 dollars all day, but when we pulled out, it was 30 buck said something they go not that is the other lot which the sign was directly in front of the entrance to this lot.
Just wow. Its the longest I've put down my phone and been in the moment with my kids in longer than is like to say. We were there until they closed and still didn't see everything, we still found ourselves discovering new things. I don't even have words. I've never been anywhere like this before. It was an amazing experience.
Needs safety reviews & definitely cleaning. Place should be reviewed for safety & injuries as it’s all made of iron and metal and doesn’t look safe at many places. It’s a labyrinth of slides, climbs and tricky tiny places to fit in. Young Kids will easily get lost. Definitely needs lighting at most places, since it’s very dark even during the day time. Probably hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, so needs thorough cleaning. Staff is extremely friendly, caring and courteous.
Make sure you bring knee pads and head lights and lots of hand sanitizer. Other facilities are barely okay. You pay extra for the rooftop.
Was a lot more than I expected. My son was just a little to small for us to actually enjoy it the way it should be enjoyed. We will be back tho when he's older and hit every floor, slide, tunnel and obstacle they have.
There was a lot to do there! I only wish I visited when I was younger so I could've crawled around more with my kids. It'll be neat to see the displays that weren't done yet, they looked like they will be enjoyable as well. I'd love to come back!
This place is great for adults and kids! Had such a fun time. Plan to spend at least a half day here!
Such a cool place that made me feel like a kid again, $20 to get in then had to upgrade to the yellow band for $8 more dollars to go on the roof, definitely worth the extra money to go up there you get a great view from the top of the Ferris wheel.
Always an experience! Hands down the best attraction for all ages in StL. You could go every day and you'll still find a new tunnel, hideaway, or oddity every time
There’s a Great mirror, maze and there’s an amazing cave system under a giant fish tunnels, and you can crawl through the vents and there is a giant slide three stories tall
The kids had a blast.
So many things to climb up, crawl on, and slide down.hours of fun.
I would recommend knee pads
I absolutely love this place. I try to make a trip to St. Louis just for the museum at least once a year.
My husband and I lived in the area but moved before our kids could experience the city and everything it offers. We took a family vacation and had to stop in the the City Museum. I’m so glad we did. They had a great time on all the slides and caves as well as all the outdoor space. Love it here.
Extremely filthy *everywhere*, poor ventilation, terribly filthy Aquarium conditions, dark and dangerous for small children, especially.
