Clarkson Eyecare, St. Louis MO

The staff called me several times regarding insurance coverage. 1st I told vision is not covered then I was called back 2 days later to ask about insurance coverage again. So Indeceided to assist the team and call for my own vision benefits. Once active coverage was confirmed I was then told that the appointment scheduled for next day had to be cancelled. Clarkson Eyecare can only see 4 medicaid patients a day. This appointment was made early July. Never again call Crown Optical

Professional, knowledgeable staff. Prices more reasonable than other Eyecare in the area. Felt cared for by the doctor & the optician. Clarkson is the best!

The worst customer service of any business I’ve ever experienced. Twice I bought glasses and paid in full at the time of appointment. 6 months later they completely bungled my insurance and sent me a bill which was the wrong doctor for the wrong location. Took 3 months to deal with insurance and this problem. Went back a year later and then they sent me a bill again 6 months later after I paid in full. Called and inquired about the problem. Never got back to me and then sent a 24 dollar bill to collections after never contacting me. All in all this is a shady company who will Bill you 6 months later a service they didn’t provide.

This place is the worst I scheduled a appt for my 2 sons in January for March 23rd. They called me the day before and told me i had to reschedule because someone with our same insurance would be there. Like what the hell does that mean? So I rescheduled next available 2 months out on may 7th they text me an hour before saying unforeseen bs that the doctor won’t be in. Like really? I think they all smoking crack at this location! Don’t waste your time like I did. They don’t deserve the one star, but I had no choice

Loved my experience with Clarkson EyeCare. Staff was polite and super informative. Really enjoyed the extra information I received from the eye scan that was done. The scan showed the health of my eye, and each component was explained to me in detail. Dr. Cullinan was provided thorough answers to all of my questions. I have wore glasses and / or contacts for years and have never felt so informed leaving an eye appointment or confident in the information I received.

I had a Wonderful experience from the phone call explaining what was wrong to the office visit beginning to end Thanks everyone.

My appointment is always good, from the front to the back. My optometrist is easy, professional & explains everything well so you know what to expect. I always leave knowing my eyes have been well taken care of.

Clean and felt safe during my visit (during the pandemic). Staff was knowledgeable and pleasant, the doctor was very nice and explained my exam results to me in an interesting and understandable way. Made my annual eye exam fun!

The friendly staff and eye doctors are the best at Clarkson on South Grand. I have needed vision correction for 30+ years and this location is the best overall experience of all of those years.

I went in for a routine eye exam and new glasses/frames. The service was excellent. The manager Erin noticed the pair I picked out didn't sit quite right on my ears and helped me find a similar pair that would fit better and not slide off my face. I never would have noticed this on my own and would have ended up with glasses I didn't like. Thank you Erin!

I keep going back to this Clarkson Eyecare for my annual eye exam, because the staff give efficient, friendly service with precise, accurate results.

I always feel well taken care of at the South Grand location. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Dr is efficient and has had many ideas about helping me to wear contacts again after many years. Being economically affected by the pandemic was embarrassing, but the staff helped me make choices about my frames, lenses and contacts that utilized my insurance well, and stayed within my budget while taking care of my vision.
