Columbja audubon nature sanctuary is a beautiful spot located right in the heart of Columbia not far from the mall. There are trails through the fields and woods. It’s a great spot to see birds and other wildlife. On my last visit there are now porta potties in the parking lot. Lots of pretty wildflowers and trees. No dogs allowed inside the sanctuary.

The area is great for running and walking without the fear of your car being stolen.

You think you're young and vibrant, then one day you find yourself in a field at 7am looking for a rare bird that looks almost exactly like 3 other common birds in the area.

Nicely kept nature with quite a few bird species to encounter. Good place for family walk. A few people were walking dogs on leashes and picking up their poop.

This is a wonderful little park with several trails that are less than mile long. Which is great for kiddos.

This is such a beautiful area to hike! We pulled into the parking lot and were immediately impressed by the scenery. It helped that we visited at the peak of fall color.

The trails are amazingly well-marked. We loved the benches that have letters on them to help identify where we were on the trail. We will visit any time we are in the Columbia area.

A wonderful nature area, with plenty of woodland and some grassland to explore. The deer seem less used to people than those at the Forum Nature Area.
