5 The staff at Commerce here in Bolivar is absolutely amazing, every single one of those ladies put a smile on my face at least once a week that I go there. Literally could not brag anymore on these wonderful beings!
5 years later: The new management at this place is a terrible joke. The assistant manager refused to deposit co-signed checks from my wife that we have been doing for SIX years at this location with no valid reason other than he didn't want to. The slightly less than straight 'man' continued to argue with me and decided not to deposit any checks at all, causing an overdraft on my account until he decided to comply.
New tellers at the Bolivar Commerce are poorly trained and cannot spell customer service. Old staff members are fine but mostly have left. This branch has the look of a failing enterprise. Have been with the bank since before it wad bought by Commerce. Looking to exit now.
My wife and I have been Commerce customers for many years, and recently applied for an ARM at our local branch in Bolivar. The service we received throughout the application process was outstanding! Everyone from Commerce that we dealt with was extremely helpful, especially Tiffany Baumann at the Springfield branch on N. Kansas Expressway. Tiffany was even available to help with loan documentation questions outside normal business hours. We needed to get the loan approved quickly because we were closing on our new house in a few weeks, and Tiffany made that happen. The ability to upload, review and sign documents online was very helpful and really sped up the process. We got great customer service from Commerce Bank!
Sure they have alright service, but honestly I will never recommend this bank to anyone not even my worse enemy. The worse bank I have ever used!
Went to Bolivars location on friday to cash paycheck and the bank closed at 4 pm. No sign about change. Called number and it said their hours were unlit 6 pm. All other banks in area still open. Have seen this location going down hill for years now.
