7My Mom brought me to this branch on our way to Bolivar, to deposit the check that my maternal grandfather sent me for Christmas. I was able to do so in a timely way.
Crazy fees on my account there. Every month I feel like this bank charges a new unnecessary fee, can't wait to switch
Horrible customer service. I went into Commerce Bank on Kansas Expressway to make a wire transfer. While I understand why the bank teller asked me if I knew who I was wiring money too, I found it extremely unprofessional and rude for her to insinuate that I was being scammed and needed to be precautionary, and not proceed with the transfer. I had already sent this title company money, I knew I was not being scammed and was confused as to why she was being so skeptical of me. Then, when I gave her the information of the bank it needed to be sent to, she proceeded to ask me questions I didn’t have answers too, thinking that she would know what the “ABA #’s” and “Account #’s” meant since she works… at a bank. As a result, she insinuated that I was not giving her correct information and if I proceeded, my money would be lost and I would NOT be able to get it back since I was the one who didn’t have the correct information. I quickly apologized for wasting her time and left. So, I went to their location on Battlefield. It took roughly 15 minutes for a bank representative to confirm my information and send the transfer. I’m now worried I did something wrong? I wouldn’t recommend Commerce Bank to anyone now due to this interaction. Teach your employees how to educate their customers so they have a better understanding of their finances and money situations. I will be changing banks as soon as I move and will no longer support Commerce Bank.
Typically anytime I need come into this branch I work with Shelby. She is fantastic! She helped me today set up a new account and she did it in a seconds time, she’s quick! Her customer service skills are great, I never have an issue communicating & working with Shelby. She was able to keep a good conversation going during my visit, which many can’t do! I appreciate all she does for commerce and her customers. I’ll continue my relation with this branch thanks to shelby.
Most of the employees at the north Springfield branch have little idea as to policy. They have to email corporate and ask them the question, only to never receive a response. I've been waiting for a solution for 3 weeks.
I will do business with this bank. Great customer service. Good people here. Go see them you won’t be disappointed.
