If it wasn’t for Compass Health, my family and I mental health would not be as it is today. They doctors and therapist really worked with us and I am in a different place now. I love Compass Health Center. My family has nothing but good things to say about our treatment.

BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE! Dr. Barro does not know how to extract teeth. I am looking into suing this place and this dentist. I spent over 30 minutes having my tooth “try” to be extracted while the pain medication was NOT working. After telling her and her dental assistant multiple times that the numbing meds weren’t working she continued to try and extract my tooth anyways telling me the pain I was feeling was only pressure. I told her I know the difference between pain and pressure and that it was pain I was feeling! So she continued giving me more and more numbing shots that were not administered correctly and continued to try and extract my tooth while I had tears coming down my face. Eventually she scoffed and said I’m done I can’t pull this tooth. She tried telling me I needed to start taking antibiotics for infection and that’s why she couldn’t pull it or get it numb…yeah ok.so I told her I had already finished antibiotics 3 days prior and she looked at me like a deer in headlights “oh you did? ” She never even looked at my chart before working on my teeth… then proceeded to prescribe me Tylenol with codeine (probably so I wouldn’t sue her for the pain she caused me) and sent me on my way. NEITHER HER NOR HER DENTAL ASSISTANT helped me out of the chair to find my glasses or get my purse together as I’m crying in pain trying to leave this god awful joke of a dental office. I had to CLIMB over wires to get to my belongings while the dental assist watched me not offering any help knowing what I had just been through. I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to come to this place for anything. Complete joke. If you want to endure pain and suffering then be my guest and make your appointment here! I just ended up going to another dental office 3 days later who got my tooth right out and I didn’t feel a thing. 1 numbing shot and he got it right out. After telling him my horror story he said there was only one reason she couldn’t get it numb and extract it and that was she was inexperienced. Compass health employs nobody but young dentists out of school trying to get their foot in the door with no experience what so ever. So I am warning you do not come here! Here is a pic of my tooth after her pulling and using tools to try and extract it she inflamed my gums and everything. Worst pain I’ve ever had in my life. My gums were literally purple, blue and bleeding after this.

Everything about this place is awful! No direct phone number, you get transferred all over the place and then no one answers their phone-voice mail. It's clear the staff could care less about any patient in their waiting room!

The registrar was a lot nicer than I thought originally. I just thought my actual dentist appointment was at 3: 30 so I showed up early to get the paperwork out of the way but they wouldn't let me get it out of the way until 3: 30 so I just thought that was strange.

Dr. Barro and Abra are both wonderful. But Dr. Morris and this other lady with blonde hair, looked kind of old are not. The lady literally was so bad with my teeth and while doing my teeth, she was talking about alcoholic drinks.

I’ve had great experiences with compass dental in St. Charles. The staff is very friendly and I am always quick to get me seen with very little waiting time. The dental hygienist Abra is so great at what she does. She has a very positive and upbeat personality and is also very knowledgeable. She did a wonderful job and made my experience there a great one.

Terrible. Been trying for a cleaning for 2 years with dental. Keep getting pushed off because my measurements expire after 6 months because they can't find time to do the procedure. Then, mental health services are terrible. Appointments missed, meds screwed up. When my pharmacy has questions about things they have never gotten an answer from the doctor, not one time, so, missing needed meds. Mental health meds like depressants should not just be stopped and started on a whim. I'm done. Will be complaining to every board I can think of. Disabled and lots of time on my hands.

Horrible. They don't respect your time, and the waits are no less than 2 hours. No matter what you go in for. They are not gentle, disrepectful to myself and my kiddos, and have messed up on more than one occasion. It takes months to get in. We're now at another dentist who is fixing all the problems from Compass. We only went because they took our insurance. Avoid them. It's worth it!

First time going to this place and I waited 2 weeks to get a scheduled then that got rescheduled for 2 weeks later again just to find out it got canceled and nobody knows how. It’s really frustrating because I wanted to start immediately for counseling sessions and I kept working this in to my work schedule just to keep getting rescheduled. I normally don’t write bad reviews but this has upset me greatly.

Do not and I repeat Do not take your kids here for behavioral health. Very disorganized and unprofessional. I have taken my child off of the meds that are being prescribed because they are hurting more than helping. Fmla not being completed correctly and definitely not in a time efficient manner. Nurses are almost never available. I will definitely be filing a formal complaint.

Horrible place. I waited for 2 hours for dental even though I arrived to my appointment on time, they just plopped me into a chair and forgot about me for 2 hours and then made the excuse that the doctor was "tied up" - if the doctor is tied up then you shouldn't be making appointments for that time frame. I took off work for this under the impression that I'd be getting my dental work done today as well, and they aren't even doing that (even though I told them it's causing me pain). And in fact they couldn't even schedule me to do the fillings a month and a half later, at which point it'll be worse than it is now. I was told over the phone that it would be done today. Very unprofessional, extremely slow, and full of excuses. You might as well just pay the extra money and go to a dentist who actually cares about their patients, because compass's lower prices are not worth the awful experience you'll have and how much of your time they will waste away. Avoid compass health network.

Update: I have since suspended all services and communications with Compass Health Network, and they are sending me bills for appointments that never happened. This place is a huge scam, preying on people who don't know any better.

Everything about this place is awful. From the time you schedule to when you show up for your appointment. The staff is nothing but lazy and they do not respect wait times. They don't let you schedule your next appointment because it is 6 months in advance which is ridiculous, especially when you have to request off work in enough time for the appt and because you won't get the appt time you want.

I would not go here if it wasn't for them being the only dentist in this area that takes my sons insurance.

Told me they wouldn't treat my 5 year old daughter because she was scared, even though she fully cooperated during the visit. We tried finding a pediatric dentist, but couldn't find anyone that accepted her insurance and was accepting new patients. I called to reschedule here. They apologized for sending us away and said they would treat her since we couldn't get in anywhere else. Just left because they refused treatment AGAIN. My daughter is cooperating! She's just scared! If you're going to treat children, you should learn how to work with them! We have now taken my daughter out of school for two sets of x-rays but zero treatment! Prior to this second appointment, they told me it would be to reevaluate her tooth. After the appointment, they said it was actually to revaluate her. They were not honest. I wouldn't have made another appointment had I known!

I had to put one star because there is no negative stars. This place is horrible. They should be shut down. Please Do NOT waste your time and money here. They have no compassion for their clients. In every instance my sister has been treated like a dollar sign. Please.please do not allow this place to treat you or your family the way my sister has been treated.

Canceled my sister's dental appointment after arriving 5 minutes late due to bad weather. It's okay for their staff to make clients wait 30+ minutes for appointments or cancel without notice. This company does not care about the clients served. Awful!

Overall I have not had issues with behavioral health thus far.

They are prompt and on time when I call for appointments or any questions. My doctor is thurough and I like that they take the time to ask questions. Based on previous places I have gone to for mental health, I would recommend due to the friendly staff and prompt response.

The only downside:
I have no insurance at the moment, when I was furlough I was informed it would be based on income. Im currently paying $250 a month for the visit plus $80 a month for medication.
