Corby Place, St Joseph MO

The staff is very caring and helpful to the residents. Apartments are spacious and each have a full kitchen if one wanted to cook in the apartment. Three meals a day are provided and the food is good. Cleaning and laundry are also included in your monthly price. Nursing care available (for an extra cost). Beautiful building, outdoor patio area and activities are available throughout the day into early evening. Transportation is provided at a minimal cost to appointments. Outside trips are also planned with transportation provided—Walmart, restaurants and Chiefs training camp to name a few. Would highly recommend this place to any of my family or friends.

I know someone who very recently moved in (so if something changes in the future I will change this review accordingly). I have visited a few times so far, and I've noticed that the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about the people who live there.
The building itself is beautiful and an amazing piece of St. Joe history! It's clear that they take good care of the building - and the individual apartment itself is very nice! It has a full kitchen and a decently sized, easily accessible bathroom, with a surprising amount of closets/storage space.
Also, the 14th floor has an observation deck with an unbelievable view of downtown!

I just got to start out by saying Corby Place is HOME! It is absolutely amazing, residents are amazing & the atmosphere is so warming and very welcoming! I’ve worked here 4 years. Started house keeping to over night laundry, being a receptionist, to now the activities director! I would not trade my place, my job, my love, and my commitment to anyone or anywhere else but who’s at Corby! The staff is wonderful and always willing to be a helping hand for anyone and everyone here! Corby Place Senior Living is the place to be

We recently had our Dad pass away. He was supposed to move with Mom into Corby.
It is such a NICE SAFE PLACE!
But he passed.
So we moved Mom into a 1 bedroom apartment.
EVERY PERSON who works there, are the most caring people.
It's a first name basis and they are ALL the BEST!
They have gone above and beyond to take care of our Mom.
It's a SAFE CLEAN & CARING assisted living.
3 meals a day!
LOTS of fun activities!
Transportation services also.
Housekeeping, laundry, too!
It's really a blessing I don't worry about Mom, I know they are taking excellent care of her!
I can sleep at night knowing she is SAFE!
Plus ALL the assisted living PEOPLE who live there are really GREAT PEOPLE ALSO!
