Cordia Plumbing Inc, Richmond Heights MO

A pipe burst in our basement because of frigid temperatures and some questionable work by the folks (not Cordia) that installed our irrigation system. The same questionable work left us with no way to stop the water from pouring out of the burst pipe than to shut off the water to the entire house.

Chris from Cordia was at our house in a matter of minutes in the middle of a snowstorm and not so great road conditions. He had a new valve installed quickly and with no fuss. Total pro. You could tell he’d done this a million times because he’s very amiable and conversed with me the entire time he was nonchalantly doing the work just like a good dentist or doctor does during an exam.

We’re so grateful for the near-immediate responsiveness of Cordia during our emergency.

Our basement was flooding due to a burst water pipe and filter during a snowstorm. Eight other plumbing companies in St. Louis didn't answer, or said they were too busy to help. Cordia was recommended by a neighbor. Instead of going home for the day, Chris drove through the storm to get here.

He showed up in an hour, and had it fixed in half an hour. Old-school, experienced, with a bit of a George Carlin vibe, he has good communication skills, is very knowledgeable, and I trust his work to last. I'd recommend him for any plumbing repair- especially emergencies.

We had a gas leak at the end of January 2022. To my surprise, our home warranty instructed to call a plumber.

The folks at Cordia came out right away, replaced & reconfigured our gas lines and had us up and running same day!

Everyone was extremely personable and professional!

The plumbers that they sent were highly efficient. They completed the work in less than the quoted time. There were a few small issues with communication as the plumber that was supposed to complete my project was out on the day that my project was scheduled. The management did not let me know till I called them that morning (maybe it was a last minute emergency). However, after I explained that I already ripped out my vanity and only have one bathroom, they sent a plumber that afternoon.
Would recommend for service calls. Highly efficient especially if you have a good description of what needs to be done.

They were hired to increase water pressure and flow.
They gave a estimate, sent over a employee we never met and he clogged the pipe took away ALL water flow. We now have no water coming out of faucet!

Next day at end of Day, owner Chris came over with two men and they proceeded to make two large holes In our ceiling and did not repair them!

They never fixed anything. Made two holes in ceiling and took away our low water pressure to NO water!
Sent a Huge bill $900.00. We had our water flow we had taken away and left with no water flow and two huge holes in ceiling. This is abuse of power, unprofessional, Absolutely wrong. I do not advise ever using this company.
We do not plan on paying so so e to vandalize our property.

Cordia plumbing helped me immensely! My water stopped working in my entire house and most plumbers I called said they couldn’t come for weeks (meaning no running water for nearly a month!) but when I contacted Cordia they sent Steve over the next business day and he was incredibly helpful and was able to troubleshoot the situation and get my water back! He was professional and also very helpful and polite when answering my questions. I highly recommend them to anyone!

In the past we have had solid experiences with Cordia. All the goodwill is now gone. I am only posting this review after numerous attempts to communicate with the owner (Steve) who has ignored every request for a private resolution.
We hired Cordia to clean drains, fix sink stoppers and replace the filter in a tub faucet. While we think the drains are better, the other work was either not completed or completely butchered. The new sink stopper that was installed was never functioning. The ones they "fixed" don't work either. But then there's the tub. The "plumber" they sent broke our tub. We don't know exactly what happened, but the formerly functioning faucet now leaks and sprays and is out of service until parts that the "plumber" can't find are replaced. The new plumber (no quotes) we hired has since found the faucet info and informed us that we will likely have to replace the entire fixture due to logistics challenges. This will cost us 4 figures +.
Oh.the "plumber" also left in the middle of the job for 90 minutes. And Cordia cancelled our first appointment on the original day of. So much time we will never get back.
I would never recommend Cordia to anyone. Ever. They don't appear to be capable plumbers anymore. They certainly don't seem to care if they cause a problem and they will not respond to requests to solve it. Hiring Cordia has cost us time, ruined our master bath and cost us an ever-increasing amount of money.

I made an appt for a technician to come to my home and give an estimate on what I consider to be a sizeable job. I was given a 2 hour window for the appt, 2: 30-4: 30. At 3: 00 I called to make sure the appt was still a go. I was told by the I spoke to that she would call the tech and then call me back. I never received a call back. At 5: 03 I called again to find out whether or not the tech would be coming to my home that evening. I was told she would make an "emergency" call to the tech which she assured me meant he would have to call back. Again I did not receive a cl back. I had heard good things about them but my experience was not good. I would give 0 stars if that were an option. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!

I called back because I didn't receive a call the following day. Not even an apology from the person I spoke to. He didn't seem to care that I left a 1 star review. I will never call them for service again and I strongly recommend that you don't either!

I have an amazing experience with cordia Plumbing, they did fix a big water leak at our c-store. They do fix that others big plumbing companies can’t fix. Steve and his team is awesome. I do Highly recommend them, thank you Steve, Judy and team of Cordia Plumbing.

Big shout out to Cordia plumbing, the Cordia family lives and works in Richmond Heights. Most important: When we had a waste line break, their team took us from homeless to happy home dwellers in under a week.
Cordia sent a large crew, everyone knew what they were doing and did a top notch job. Steve Cordia was in the house when he needed to be there to make sure everything was done well, mentoring his crew as appropriate. The gentleman digging the "big hole" is celebrating his 28th year with Cordia.

The only dirt tracked into the house came from my shoes. After Cordia dug, removed and replaced, they swept and mopped.

We requested Cordia Plumbing to provide an estimate for a basement bathroom remodel. We waited for Steve to come to the house and look at the job. He said as he was leaving it might take him a week to get the estimate. I called after one week. It was not done. I called after 2 weeks and still not completed. Called 3 weeks and asked if they just did not want the job. Judy, the individual who answers the phone, said she would call Steve immediately and then she would call me back the same day. She did not call me back. I am very disappointed because we heard such good things about this company.

We had a really great experience with Cordia! After recently moving into a new house, we had lots of plumbing work to do to get it up to snuff for us. They were professional and thorough, and most of all passionate about what they do! We highly recommend them for plumbers in St. Louis!

Would not recommend there company, I was given a time for them to look at my plumbing issue and no one showed up or called to say that no one was coming out yesterday or when they could.
