Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room, Kansas City MO

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while now and so glad I got the chance. A buddy of mine brought me here for my birthday and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in Kansas City. It was a Monday night and we didn’t have a reservation, so the host sat us up at the bar. Really not even worth mentioning except it was at the very end right next to the service well so it was a little distracting at times. The menu is New American/Italian/Asian fusion. We took recommendations from our server who may have been the floor manager. She helped us navigate the menu and we ended up ordering seaweed doughnut and crispy pork ribs to start. The seaweed doughnuts were decadent, think savory beignets with hint of seaweed smeared with a trout roe crema. The flavors of the crispy pork ribs heavily reminded me of a Vietnamese dish, bun cha. Next we had spicy strozzapretti and XO fried rice. The strozzapretti definitely stole the show, both of our favorite for the night. So much so we ordered a second. We still had a little room after so we asked for another suggestion and landed on the mushroom burger. It wasn’t a patty like I had expected, but more akin to a mushroom sloppy joe. That being said it did not disappoint the taste buds. Needless to say I’ll be back with the wife and friends in tow so I can try more phenomenal offerings from this menu.

Recent trip to Kansas City. Everything we had was tasty. How does his carrots taste so good. Service was top notch. Was kind of afraid of ordering the seaweed donut but I was wrong. They were fantastic. Definitely can't go wrong give this place a try.

Maybe I'm not your target customer; the place is pricey for me, but I went in for a special occasion. The food really was good and the service attentive, so that part was good. I felt the portions were small. The thing that was so disappointing was that I chose the place based on a live music performance. There is one table directly behind a beam with nearly total obstructed viewing. Of course, that's where we were seated. I was so excited to try a good, albeit expensive, place and enjoy a show. I had reservations and everything. I couldn't enjoy the show I came to see. There was no forewarning or acknowledgement of the situation. I didn't bring it up because all the other tables were full and reseating wouldn't have been possible. If I would have known, I wouldn't have gone.

This place was so classy and cozy, perfect for a date night! They had a live pianist that added to the overall atmosphere. The food was unique and delicious! Nothing you order comes out the way you might think it will, but it’s still delicious. The mocktails were also yummy!

An amazing restaurant for date night and dinner parties. We enjoyed all the delicious food and drinks, paired with live music.

Food wise: We had the Seaweed Donuts (similar to beignets, served with whipped butter and roe) ; Crispy Pork Ribs (MUST-HAVE!), XO Fried Rice and Spicy Strozzapreti. I would recommend the first three and can skip the last pasta dish if you're not a fan of kimchi.

Honestly, my entire experience at this restaurant was disappointing. There is a ton of promise and knowledge in the restaurant as a whole, but the execution of practically all menu items was poor. I sincerely hope something changes soon because I want to eat the food I've heard about from the locals and articles I've read.

Incredible. Best meal I've had in awhile. So unique, everything you get will blow your mind. The ribeye was so tender and juicy. Perfection. This is a must go in KC. We went in and just grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered all of our entrees with the bartender. The live music addition just perfects the atmosphere!

Good atmosphere with great live piano while you dine. The service was very friendly and attentive. From the dishes we tried I found the Gem salad, donuts, steak tartar, ribeye and creme brulee to be the best ones. The fried chicken, peas with ricotta and a couple of others were unremarkable.

Simply outstanding. Either the Tasting Room or Supper Club are great choices depending what you’re trying to experience.

It’s a nice upscale spot for KC. Really cool ambiance.the food is good but nothing special. The glazed carrots is worth a try (I’m a labneh lover)

Good sport for a date

We had a wonderful dinner experience at the Supper Club with friends. The bill was steep, but we knew what we were signing up for, and it was worth every penny. There was an excellent pianist and the service was top notch.

You absolutely must get the fried chicken. You won't be disappointed.

Went with 7 others on a Saturday night. Music was too loud to enjoy. Our server was not friendly nor very helpful. Had a great drink before our table was ready, asked server for another prepared the same way. He looked confused, we told him which bartender made it and what was different. He didn’t take the time, so the drink wasn’t what I wanted. Food was good, although would have been nice having some semblance of a three course meal if the food came out the way the menu is organized. Sourdough bread, should not come out last. And lastly, it is annoying to have the server point out although 20% is already added for a large group you can always add more. We’re adults, we know that. If your service was better perhaps we would have

Nice modern restaurant. Stylish presentation with the idea of multiple dishes and sharing. Super bar. Amazing bar staff. Impressed with the view of an extremely clean, professional and well functioning kitchen. Live piano music. Also a decent sized crowd.

I made reservations long time ago at tasting room for my bf birthday. I left note when I made the reservation. And told them the moment I step in.nothing special for his birthday. And the picture is a small bouquet I paid for 75 plus service fee and taxes. This place is way over priced. And the girl server give me a feeling that she doesn’t even want to serve our table even they charged 100 service fees. Final bill is $620 for two ppl not worth it at all. I rather use the money to other fine dining at least they give me a sparkle candle for birthday.bad experience. Won’t come back

We had the burger, rigatoni, pork chop and fries. Also two glasses of wine. The only thing above average is the fries. Wendy's has a better burger. Just awful. Rigatoni was a bad version of midwest goulash and seriously the worst pork chop known to pigs. Horrifying subpar. James Beard is a joke if this place exists!

Simply fantastic. From the service to the food to the live music, top notch. In my opinion, the prices are actually reasonable when you consider it is all meant to be shared. Not intimating or overly stuffy. We had the seaweed donuts which I was honestly not excited about but our server highly recommended - just sublime. And GET THE WHOLE BRANZINO - perfection! We will be back.
