Cost Cutters, Columbia MO

Cost Cutters provides efficient and amazing haircuts, much better than some other places I've been to. Their swift and excellent services surpass other salons or hair cutting places I've tried. Highly recommended.

My experience at cost cutters was amazing. Chrissy is very knowledgeable and did an amazing job not only on my highlights but on my haircut and style as well. She never made me feel rushed she listened to everything I wanted done and I left there very satisfied and happy with her work. I will definitely be back to see her. I recommend her to anybody she is truly amazing at what she does.

After botched hairtrim at Conley location (chuncks cut out 11-24 inches, in spots. Went in for a trim of 2 inches off back)
Broadway location (Amanda) overprocessed the highlight, that was done to hide chopped hair. Severe damage was done to my hair.
Worst place, ever.

I mean it's a pretty mediocre Salon but they gave me my like bubble mushroom bob haircuts when I was a kid so you know they're okay kind of slow and they have a lot of attitude but in a good way and sometimes they've turned people away from getting haircuts which is not very slay also you guys gave me bangs and they took forever to grow out and they were uneven so like for my first half of kindergarten I looked like a lopsided Bowl

Korey is the best stylist ever. I'm very picky about my cuts and very seldom find someone I'll let give me a cut twice. She's patient and takes her time, asks what you want, and will do exactly as asked, even if it means trimming an extra millimeter from here or there, which I had her do three different times. She's very friendly and will chat with you while she works. She makes you feel like you've known her for years. I have had my hair cut 5 times since moving to Columbia and she is the only one that's done it right. She is the only one that will cut my hair as long as I'm living here.

Amanda did a wonderful job cutting my hair. She customizes my cut so it comes out just right for me.

Rushed me through and was more worried about what she looked like in the mirror. I think she was the manager? Cut my bangs at a weird angle and now I spent another 20 bucks to make it right

My husband and son are tired of the comb throwing. Specially 4 weeks ago he was in a sling from prior surgery and was worried of getting hurt. They will not be returning. They will be going back to prior salon.i haven't been in for a year for same reasons also since ammand left it's gone down hill.

Mandy at cost cutters is the best! I’ve been coming to her for a cut and color for the past year. She not only listens to my ideas, she makes suggestions I would never think of. She always finds time to work me in, she is always so much fun to be around. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Went in for a haircut, going from very long to very short. Shannon was great. Understood what I wanted and I couldn't be happier.

Mandy and Amanda are great. Shannon is Hateful and Snotty. Sorry but I won't be coming back once or twice a month like I normally do, matter of fact I won't be back at all.

Please DO NOT go here if you are not getting a mens or child’s hair cut. I used to be able to come in for a trim, but that quickly turned to a night mare yesterday when I got the worst hair cut of my life. I will never ever return to either locations, even for just a quick trim. Ended up 4 inches shorter than I wanted and with the most choppy horrible haircut you’ve ever seen, having to spend more money to get it fixed somewhere else.

I came in for a trim five minutes early, then they didn't know how much to cut off, not a problem. We agreed on 2 inches. Then they completely soaked my hair and cut it. After they were done cutting it they said they were done, well my hair was completely wet. So I get up and my hair is making my shirt wet at this point. Its 20° outside, its winter.

I went there for a shampoo and hairstyle, I ended up having a mess of frizz, like this is how my hair looks when I wash it and air-dry it, never going back there waste of money

It took two appointments to get my stepdaughters hair cut and dyed. That really upset her plus when she got her pixie hair cut, we had to do red highlights instead of a full hair dye due to it costing $60.

Always happy with my haircuts and stylists. Very happy with this place. Easy to make an appointment online or via phone.
