Costco Wholesale reviews
29Great wholesale place. I prefer Cosco over Sam's anyway. It's easier to locate things and just better we'll laid out.
Love the store great prices and friendly service. Ordered prescription sunglasses great service fantastic prices if you need prescription glasses order them at Costco
Horrible costumer service, we’ve been going to this location for about 15 years. But in the last year the employees have became aggressive towards members with the way they speak to us. And for the tire service; I brought my truck in for a flat repair, and even told them to use stick on weights on my chrome wheels. They peeled the stick on weights I had one the wheels, repaired the tire, then hammered on the wheel rim clamp style on to my chrome wheels.
Organized but a bit crowded. This review was made during the pandemic, so at the time those traditional free samples could not be eaten inside. Just a heads up.
Went 3-28-21. Won't go back anytime soon. People in St. Peters don't know how to keep a mask on while shopping.
Terrible parking, slow to checkout and get out of the door.
But, its costco. Good deals, fresh food and friendly people.
Excellent place. Still doesn't beat another fav grocery store of ours, but still great place for books, household items, grozen stuff. I do wish they'd keep a reliable stock of the All American Chocolate Cake. Gone in two times for it and they've been out.
Not too crowded today. Good samples and they were keeping up with the shoppers. The new thing is the lane assistant when you check out. I guess that's supposed to speed up the process.
I'm ashamed to say how much I love the options and choices I take advantage of at Costco. They have a really great selection of food. You have to know how to shop there to get a good deal on the quality items.
Gotta' be one of my favorite places to shop. Good prices and friendly staff. And the daily samples are a +.
Costco is my favorite store! I wish they would build one closer to me though, I have to drive 45 minutes each way to get to the closest one. Their quality and customer service are phenomenal.
Neat and organized facility. Prices match online sources. Too few bodies to help direct shoppers when searching, however.
Good selection of items for sale.
Usually good prices.
Love the food samples.
Gas is cheaper than most stations.
Very clean store, friendly staff and stocked well. I did noticed several items without a proce tag, but not a big deal.
Avoid weekend afternoons if you can. The sample squads are out in force. Which means people standing blocking aisles to get their teaspoon of whole grain mustard, etc.
I always check here for prices on tires. Most of the time they have the best. Lots of good deals on food as well.
Huge store with EVERYTHING, except salt for our water softener. Lol Loving the double kids seat in carts. Love buying in quantity! Great store!
I usually have a great experience at Costco, however today some of the workers were rude and they made it obvious. At customer service the elderly lady made me uncomfortable in front of everyone there. I probably won't go back for awhile. I'm sure it was just an off day because I love shopping there and really don't have any complaints.
Always a busy place with top notch/shelf products. Only gripe is when you find something you really like it may not be there the next time since selections are limited.
We have been Executive members for over a year now. And throughout that year I have been purchasing the Kirkland frozen boneless/skinless chicken breasts. Those chicken breasts have always been of high quality. Until this last bag that I purchased on 11/12/2018.
As soon as we opened the bag we noted how different the breasts looked. They are much thiner and a bit smaller. We had one left over from the previous bag so we cooked one of each for lunch. The thiner breast from the new bag was so rubbery it was inedible, while the breast from the older bag was tender and juicy as always. We thought maybe it was just a bad breast. So the next day we cooked another two for lunch from the new bag with the same rubbery, inedible result.
I decided to return the chicken which was refunded with no issues. When asked why, I explained the poor quality and asked if they have switched suppliers because they look different as well. Both people behind the counter didn't have a clue, nor did they attempt to find out any information for me which was disappointing. The only information that I got on the matter was one of the people said, "The boxes they come in are different now".
So I went back to where the chicken is stocked to see if maybe I just received a bad bag but sadly I did not. It seems that Costco has changed their frozen boneless/skinless chicken breasts for the worse. I looked through over ten different bags in the freezer and all of them were the new smaller, rubbery, and inedible chicken breasts. I truly hope this is a regional and temporary problem. However, if this is Costco's new permanent chicken breasts then we will not be renewing our membership because this indicates that their quality will continue to be degraded throughout their other products until it's just a run of the mill wholesaler. If anyone else has noticed this difference please respond to this comment. Thanks!
