Country Kitchen Restaurant, Hannibal MO

Food is good. Staff is friendly and good. Building is dirty and dated. If the dining room looks this bad with dirt, dust, and grime I wonder about the kitchen.: (

This place keeps the vibes of a small town short order restaurant alive. Breakfast all day, I believe. The eggs were perfect, bacon just fine and pancakes just right! It will be a stop if I am back through and looking for a great breakfast. Plenty of seating with friendly and prompt service. The sign at the door says short staffed.you would never know it. Did I mention how GOOD the pancakes were!? !

The whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable. The folks waiting to be seated were not polite. I opened and held the door for people coming and going, while I waited since there was no seating left for the waiting crowd. Only one "thank you. " One of the people, as he was called to be seated, said to make sure a couple who came in after me was seated next. They were seated before me. People who were seated after me were waited on and served before me. It just made me sad. The waitress was polite and almost made up for the experience.

Food was EXCELLENT! Waited 10 min to get waited on (while waitresses stood behind counter talking abt how they make wings at home), then we requested NO pickles anywhere (burger or plate) -got pickles, she never checked to see if all was OK, then we ordered pie - it came smothered in whip cream! WHO puts wh cream on APPLE pie and CUSTARD pie?

Delicious breakfast. Crepes and scrambled eggs with Hollandaise sauce (crepes were a little crisp and Hollandaise sauce was disappointing). Pancakes and eggs were delicious. Service was excellent.

The food took a long time. The waitress was overwhelmed and the overall experience was not good. The whole process of ordering and then eating took 2 hours. Do not recommend this place at all until they get more staff.

The servers were a little mixed up and we had 2 come and ask for our drinks. The food was basic home made stuff but the ranch was phenomenal. Some of the best ranch I've ever had

It was a nice visit. The host and waitress were exceptional. If in Hannibal, stop by and experience it for yourself. We will if we are back in the area.

We walked in about 5 minutes before they closed and they never even told us they were about to close. They seated us and served us with a smile. Great food and great people.

Had the sirloin steak, very good. Good prices, lots of menu choices. Looks like they serve breakfast all day.

The food is great. Ample portions of food. I usually have to get a to go box. Good atmosphere and good service.

Food was super disappointing and subpar. Stopped in for breakfast due to its convenience to highway. Our service was mediocre from the start with the hostess throwing down our silverware once seated. Breakfast food was pretty nasty. Undercooked and overcooked items. Wish it were better.

Very good service after she was done with her regulars. Food was fast and fresh. I'll go again

For standard American food I would call this a great place to go in the area. I think the menu prices are fair and they have plenty of options. As far as the service goes I feel that they have time honed skills and are very kind and they work hard. I think the atmosphere is not too bad. My only complaint is as well as it's maintained that many of its amenities are worn out. This used to be a 24-hour restaurant. I also think it's a little bit cramped. I think it would be great if they could get money for full remodel.

Super friendly staff and management. Best pancakes around and fried chicken always worth the extra time every time. Always have good food good service and good times here

Always a great experience when I go there.to just drink a couple cups of coffee or have a meal.

This was my first time eating here. Wow! It was great awesome food and great service will definitely be going back.

Food was really good although not very warm. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Ladies restroom had no paper towels in either dispenser and staff person shrugged shoulder and said towel roll sitting on lavatory counter to tear off.

New visit 4/21/23. Ordered crepes, (strawberry chocolate) and was dismayed to receive almost cold greasy crepes loosely rolled with way too much whipped cream. I almost cried.

Food was good, just took quite a while to get it. Waitress was dressed strange-looked like she just ran in and didn't take off her jacket. Tried to make everything about her, rather than focus on customer service. We were seated right away, and our breakfasts were good.
