I would never ever take my loved one to a place like this! Not sure what they do when us parents are not looking but they cannot be trusted!

Tilly is always a happy girl when she gets home and exhausted so we know she has fun. We have not always had the best experiences with boarding her other places but when our trainer recommended you we knew we would be in good hands. You are patient with her and know when she needs her space.

I want to let others be aware that in June, I dropped off my dog off to be boarded and groomed for a weekend at Country Lane Kennels.

When I picked her up on that Monday morning, her leg and paw was so badly damaged that she had to be euthanized due to the extensive surgery it would require to just make her a “peg” leg. This broke our family’s heart.

The owner said that they did not do ANYTHING wrong and that WE brought our dog to the kennel limping, the owner was not present when we dropped her off. Our Vet also stated that our dog had never been treated for an injury to her back left leg until this incident.

The owner originally said that she would pay for 1/2 the vet bills but then ghosted me when I emailed and called her with copies of the bills. I then took her and Country Lane Kennels to Small Claims Court.

Unfortunately, due to a technicality the court ruled in her favor due to us signing a clause back in 2016 protecting them from being liable.

The Judge did issue this in his opinion ” ALTHOUGH PLAINTIFF PROVED HIS DOG WAS FATALLY INJURED WHILE IN DEFENDANT'S CUSTODY, HIS FAMILY SIGNED A LIABILITY RELEASE WITH DEFENDANT IN 2016.

I would like to thank the court and let anyone who plans to use any kennel to be careful of what you sign.

We have used Country Lane for years! Always great service and our pup is well cared for.

We just moved to the area. The owner Joyce gave us a tour of Country Lane. It’s evident she is passionate about caring for our fur babies. We took our dog in today for a nail drummel and she is normally very anxious but the staff was wonderful with her. We have no doubt that we will be back.

My dogs were well taken care of and like how they sanitize the kennels everyday. My dog loved John who did his play time.

Dori, Dori, Dori! I cannot recommend Dori the groomer enough. She makes this place absolutely top notch from her demeanor, care, and skill. Also cheapest grooming place I’ve ever been to? Shocked by the high quality! A hidden gem.
