I had placed my order and was waiting for my food so I spoke with my wife and she wanted something also. So I went back to the cash register to place my wife order and attempted to get someone attention and was told by the cook were to busy right now. So I continued to stand there and he looked and said move away from the counter we are preparing your meal so that you can leave. I did not like his attitude so I requested a refund and his response was I do not care bye! The other guy said he wants his money back and he worked to make sure I get it back. I use to be a loyal customer but now I will not enter nor will I eat at that restaurant again. Any questions please email me.

Lives up to its name.courtesy from every employee! The food was good and reasonably priced. Waffle House has competition!

The place is set up basically the same as the Waffle House with a better selection of food plus the place is open 24 hours.

Fast service. Good prices. Good hash browns, bacon and rye toast, but man the omelettes are super greasy! Will return for sure!

It is exactly what one expects for a 24/7 diner. I have only eaten breakfast there and it is good: meat, eggs, hash browns, toast. They are short-staffed like so many places but service is acceptable.

The food was really good. I got biscuits and gravy and my partner got a short stack with bacon. Loved the food and the diner was very cute and the service was fast and amazing. Definitely stop in if you can.

Every single time I've been here, all of the staff have been so friendly and personable. That's not so common anymore unfortunately. Food is also great and prices are good!

I went there fod their famous Slinger. And, it was really good. Eggs, hamburger patty, chili, hashbrown, all together sounds like a weird combo but it tasted great. If you are ever in St. Louis, you must try Slinger in any of their 3 branches. They only accept cash so be mindful about that.

Looking for a no-frills down home diner meal? Then this is your place. Service was prompt, food was tasty and then we were on our way. Be aware that this is a cash-only place. Don't ya'll be comin' with no credit cards!

Fast and solid service with even faster food.
Breakfast is served all day and the coffee is hot.
Booths are small for those over 6ft but manageable.
We really enjoyed our breakfast and will be back when we travel 66 again.

Portion sizes were good and price appropriate.

From the waitresses to the cooks, everyone is always pleasant and food delicious. This location is much better than the locations at Hampton and also Kingshighway.

I LOVE COURTESY DINER if you love diner food and a real home time vibe, this is the place for you. My partner visiting from Italy said this was his favorite American diner experience.

The ladies and gentlemen always take care of us here even tho we place large orders every time. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious.

Know those signs you see in businesses that say, "Good. Fast. Cheap. Pick any two? " Here you can have all three! Delicious and i had lunch for under $5!

I'll give this places five stars because I like it here and pancakesare fabulous. BUT can't bring outside drinks in.which we found out today. The guy that was cook told us to not bring drinks in and it was not allowed. I thought for a minute it was a crime that we committed second there. Funny thing is that not only in this location but at Hampton courtesy dinner. We always sometimes came in with drinks NEVER had no one said nothing till that individual did. I can understand that it's not good for the business and they want people to buy drinks etc.but it kinda idiotic in a way because what if I don't want to by a drink from there? It's not an obligation.so I just ordered two waters lol and it's free. So if I was coming in me and my girl along with 10 other people then you would loose money that day because let's say I got upset and just left.you can loose customer like that when you look at it. Maybe I don't want or like any of the drinks there. Get it. Anyways good place.

My sister and I stopped in for lunch and placed a to go order and it was ready in minutes. The waitress was very friendly as well. The food was delicious. Will be going back soon.

Honestly I understand what this place is. But the fact that they never have the correct hours posted, the fact that they change the hours all the time, and that they somehow seem to sometimes stop taking orders 30 mins beforehand has made us just give up on all Courtesy Diners. Be better. Suck less.

This place is fast, efficient, basic and delivers on all levels. Not good for large parties but if you're rolling with two or solo it's perfect.

We walked into this gas station restroom of a restaurant. My gal looked over the menu while I tried to draw money from the ATM. Their ATM was on the fritz and they are a cash only establishment. My daughter used the restroom while we openly discussed with my gal how I was going to get cash to eat there. Then when my five year old came out the Grill Op proceeded to cuss us for allowing my child to use the restroom before commiting to paying for food that would have most likely been sub-par had we even felt like eating there after that woman berated us in front of a five year old child. Still leaving 1 star because I can't give 0 and the Kings highway location by Central High still is still awesome and full of courteous kind staff.

Had the Stinger for late dinner. As always, it was hot and very delicious. Plenty of chili covering everything else. The onions and jalapeños were an add delight. Could not have been better.
