If only to I could give negative stars. My wife gave birth here recently.
If you enjoy being starved, drugged tested without your knowledge, talked down to for not immediately consenting to every single little thing they wanted to do then this is the hospital for you.
My wife discovered she had been drug tested by overhearing a couple of nurses talk about it while they thought she was sleeping.

My favorite part of the whole experience was when the pediatrician, an army of nurses, and 3 separate lactation consultants all failed to notice my daughter's very serious tongue and lip tie. So after being dismissed our daughter continued to lose weight. We were able to discover this ourselves and take her to an orthodontist to have this fixed, (sure would have been nice if someone qualified had been there to check her over and make sure there was nothing wrong.)

Then when I submitted my grievances to the hospital, they simply told me that we had consented to a drug test and we are simply lying.

As for the tongue tie, apparently lactation consultants are simply not qualified to notice a serious tongue and lip tie. It's simply beyond them. I'm left wondering if a lactation consultant can't distinguish a something this simple and common, what in the hell are they qualified for?
And since the pediatrician works for another hospital, It's really not their concern.

In the future, if we are blessed with another child, I would rather send my wife to an African Witch Doctor for the birth than this disgusting facility, where you are treated like garbage and get to pay thousands of dollars for the experience.

Nice people, just terrible on time been sitting for 9 hours and did 2 test. You will be starved.and they will leave you very unclear of what’s going on.

I quit there Tuesday because of management doesn't care about your family. If your wife is in labor she will have to wait until you get off. Is what I pretty much got told Tuesday, so I would not get a job there at all

As a cardiac patient I am to be one of the first seen. I have been sitting in the waiting room for over 4 hrs. This is ridiculous.

Cox south used to be my go to for everything medical. Don't do it save your time go somewhere else.we been here for 8 hours.brought my husband in because he was having chest pain and all the signs of a heart attack.not yet seen by a doctor this place has gone down hill.

Don’t bother getting any professional medical advice or treatment from ANY healthcare facility in America. You will have a procedure done and then no one can answer any of your questions. No answers. “Oh the doctor will call you” should be known as the biggest lie ever told. Do NOT leave the facility without getting the answers you PAY FOR.

The doctors and nurses were nice to us, and there was a couple of good looking cops there too

The ER trauma and Nurses, doctors, upon admittance saved my husbands life, i cant thank them all enough for the care he received there.

I took my brother to the ER and the triage nurse was rude and condescending to him. He felt awful and wasn't a good mood and was fed up. He had been laying on a cold bench in the waiting area for 45 minutes. Curled in a ball. I'm a nurse myself, and I know that when people feel terrible, it makes them grouchy. She raised her voice and was awful to him. He just wanted help. I just can't believe a nurse would be that way to a frail 68 year old man.

RUN.never seen a hospital so poorly ran than this one. Can't get a surgeon to step out and tell family how the patient did, you get there and they dont even know where your family member is.dirty room doesnt get cleaned daily.they postpone procedures for questionable reasons, $$? No offense to anyone who practices medicine here who came from abroad but IF I can't understand their thick accent that is a problem, they should be made aware of lack of communication between patient/family and physican. Patients condition deterates since arrival but no one is told of any issues until they become life threatening. So you might think this is an isolated occurance but I stayed a little time in the front lobby where I was told horror stories from other peoples family members and watched former patients (with health issues) be wheeled down to the lobby and left unattended while they tried to get a ride home or to another facility, so discraceful and unbecoming of the hospital administration, I did personally watch one staff member wheel a lady down and apoligising to the point of tears because the administration would not allow them to give any service to a person who is no longer uner their care, in fact the lady said she signed the discharge papers and they brought a wheelchair out of the hall, put her in it, gathered up her belongings and dumped her off at the front lobby. I could go on but if you have got this far you know what to expect if you decide to go there.

Seem to Have no honor or morals/ the values and code of ethics are severely blunted. They seem to belittle every persons major concerns no matter what they are going thru based on reviews I am reading and many bad personal experiences. Seem to be better of going to a drunk friend for care they would care more and probably try harder would never recommend this hospital ever please avoid this place don’t find out for yourself they have issues and bad attitudes towards things plus many of the doctors have lack of character seems to like to send people away far to easily explains why it is always empty. Never would I ever recommend this place avoid it

I had too wait OVER 4 hours to even get into the back.some people had stomach problems and were still out in the waiting room. The "so called" that seen me didn't even suggest getting an x-ray on my knee. He didn't even look at my file ti see if I was allergic to the pain pill he gave me.luckily did get a reaction to it.if I could give this place zero stars I would. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

My father is on the 8th floor and his nurse Natasha is amazing she the most loving caring person she always has a smile on her face and cares about her patients thank you so much Natasha for taking care of my dad

I have had several stays at Cox South and almost every one has been negative. The majority of the staff are so overworked, they have forgotten that they are supposed to help people feel better.

Most of my incarcer, sorry, admissions have been for trouble breathing. One time, I was told they were going to do an angiogram, to check for heart blockage. I said, "Fine but don't do an angioplasty. "
They did an angioplasty in spite of this.

I don't remember signing a consent form specifically for this procedure, and I didn't have any proof that I had told them not to do an angioplasty.

I wound up leaving AMA because I couldn't trust them to obey my wishes. I don't have any other choice but to use Cox, and I go and stay until they lie to me again. Normally, I don't even make it out of ER.

I wish they had the ability to see that my gruffness and irascibility are because I'm afraid; afraid of dying painfully, or worse, not dying and being incapacitated for life. I have to be able to trust them, but they make it so hard

Worst service ever. They checked me in 8: 00 pm. Left me laying all night and did no blood work until 2: 50 am. They took everyone ahead of me and even people that came in hours into the morning. I just begged for something to help my headache and they acted like I wasn’t even imperative. I used to promote cox south but they are no better than a Veterinarian. They left me in misery all night and then seceded to draw blood and tile me it lien be another hour and half wait.

They dont have blankets, or pillows. I am leaving without seeing a doctor! I can’t lay here 10 more hours.

My mom was taken by ambulance to the ER yesterday. They assessed her, ran tests and had her admitted to ICU in record time. I called this morning for an update and everyone from the operator to the ICU nurse was helpful and responsive. They've taken great care of my Mom which I greatly appreciate being 8 hours away. I can rest assured knowing she's in caring hands. I am very impressed by the level of care and compassion.

The wait time to be seen as a person in actually pain is so uncalled for.almost 3 hr waiting while having kidney stone.fix the problem cox health.

Do not go to Cox South, if you were in an accident. I was treated so poorly I moved to the Northeast and I have one of the best hospitals in the world doing my surgery to reprimand the lost time the hospital put me through in negligent actions.

Go for the best, and you will be treated fairly, and that’s all I can say.

I can also say they have an ER doctor, female, living at a Championship country club, where I did, and is a hateful drunk. I do have witnesses. Be careful, this is not the behavior of professionals. My fair warning.

3 of the rudest so called nurses that I have ever seen! Shelby, Sara and Natalie in Neuro Trauma ICU! This experience with attitudes will be addressed very soon. It’s already been reported the State! Theses gals need to be a nurse for a vet clinic NOT for human beings
