They have taken such great care of both of our dogs. They have even taken the time to call us to check in and see how the are doing. Great doctors and the reception staff are also wonderful.

Was able to bring my dog in and get same day shots. Stag was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you need help for your fur kids.

Always the best took my dog in on a Friday for throwing up constantly, just a few days with them, and she is back to her spunky self. I have taken my animals to crain since I was a little girl, and they have always done what's best for my beloved furr babies.

Took our beloved Cane Corso here for cherry eye surgery was the worst experience ever. Almost 2k spent and 3 months of infections and excuses and lies. Went ahead and cut our losses and went to Lees Summit Animal for a second opinion and discovered they cut his eye so deep it was almost impossible to be fixed. Save yourself and your pet they deserve better.

Saturday on Easter weekend. Dr. Pellow and his entire staff were lifesavers! I called at 11: 00 with a puppy emergency and they were able to get us in at 1: 30. I had already reached 11 other vets in the area with no success. Had I known about Crain Vet Center, they would have been my 1st call.hands down, across the board! They were not only able to see our sweet little fur baby for the emergency but also saw him for his annual vaccinations. The paperwork was a simple 1 page, Dr. Pellow himself had is back in the exam room within 2 minutes and we were out the door in less than 30 min from the time we arrived.
He is knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. Each and every member of his team are exactly the same. The office is absolutely stunning and clean, a well. They have a large staff which allows them to have a variety of extended office hours. I was amazed at the amount of work they did for the price they charged. If you are ever in need of services for your family pet.look no where else. I know I won't!
This incredible team has opened the door for our family to be a part of their family for a lifetime! #Bestvetexperienceofmylife!

I love this place when we had to put our beloved dog of 15 years down last year, they walked us through it, held our hands, understood.now today, we had to take our newer dog in for a sickness, they immediately were there, diagnosed and and currently treating her overnight. I honestly would not recommend anyone else!

Good job on my boy. Just yearly shots and a bath.
Prices have gone up just like everyone else. $300!

Took care of my fur babies for their neuter/spay surgeries. Thank you for being attentive and careful with every aspect of their visit.

Seemed very expensive compared to other vet's in the area. But they were able to get my pup in. Everyone was friendly but any questions go through the doc.

My wife Emily and I love the staff at Crain. Our favorite is Dr. Pellow. He saved our Dashy Boy’s life about two years ago. Dash had really bad pneumonia a week when I was out of town for work. I can’t explain how thankful I am to this day at how he handled that situation for my wife and I. We will forever sing his graces. Dr. Espey also did an incredible job taking care of Dash after his surgery to remove an undescented testicle. Dash is VERY active and tore his stitches after surgery (my fault for not keeping him kenneled). On Dr. Espey’s recommendation and care with I believe a lavage therapy we picked Dash up a few days later and his wound healed incredibly! The girls at the front are so kind and accommodating as well. Always working to squeeze you in SAME DAY! WOW! What a treasure this business is. I would give them all the stars.

We were out of town and they helped our adult children (22 &19) navigate our kitty's issues which ended up needing surgery. They kept everyone calm and took great care of everything. We love Jerry and Rob and the team. They are tye best. They are thorough and at the same time wise about the tests they run and always tell you what and why.

They were great. I came in as a walk-in with my kitty. They were very friendly, fast, & reasonably priced. At check out, my girl broke off her quick release collar/ leash & hid under the food/supplies shelf that was about 2 inches high. Almost all the staff, if not all, including my awesome vet, came up front to assist in getting her out. After getting her out & some laughs, my vet also offered a loaner pet carrier just in case she did it again in the parking lot, & wouldn't get hit. Very impressed. I was also able to apply for care credit that was advertised on their site, so in addition, my bill is 6 months interest-free.

I brought my cat here on Saturday because of a cut foot pad. After a less than 5 minute exam, I was printed a cost sheet of $455 for surgery to fix his paw pad. I said I believed an ER vet was cheaper. I was charged a exam fee of $42. They did NOT check his temperature or do anything but look at his paw.
I took him to the ER vet, Blue Pearl.
I was told by the Vet he could give a surgery of over $400, but that he did not recommend it because of the location on the pad. The Vet said It would heal on it's own. If he did surgery it was his experience it would not last.
This Vet sent me home with antibiotics. $168.
Crain was not interested in what was best for my cat or me. They only wanted to make money!

Great care and flexibility with our puppy pepper who recently got parvo. She's currently being cared for by the vets in a few over night stays. Originally Saturday was the hopefully date. Now Monday is the next hopeful date. Day 2 of this 4 day challenge is upsetting and stressful for both my wife and I. The Vet took time for a lengthy conversation where I questioned everything being done. He was patient and more than willing to hear my questions as well as answer them.

Praying to God she's a spicy pepper we know her to be and come out of this. Thanks to all the staff for being available to see her in only a couple hours of making the call.

Update. Day 6 of being hospitalized for parvo, she got to come home. Although it wasn't cheap. You can't put a price on a vet and their practice keeping you updated and working hard for you. We still have healing to do but she is still our little pepper and showing signs of improvement.

Doc Rob took care of Pepper. Sunday his father came in and worked hard to keep her hydrated. Between Doc/Vet Rob, his father, numerous staff. Chloe, Dalton, unfortunately many others I can't remember, she's is home again. I can't thank you guys enough.

As a couple who may never have kids. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in missouri. Our pets are our babies and to have her home again means more than anyone will ever know.
