Dustin is "The Man". Im use to Dustin's work from a prior shop so it was natural to follow the guy who gave me a life changing tattoo. This guy has blessed me with 2 great tattoos. One was a picture of my mother which I get compliments on daily. And the most recent one was a scar covering zodiac sign which I also love. I only wish I would've met him sooner so he would've been the one who did my very first tattoo. Thanks Dustin. 10/10 all across the board.

Nick is the best! Out of town working in St. Louis. I went to a few other shops letting them know I needed to get in chair asap so I don’t get sent back home before I got my out of state tat. Coming across Crimson Dove was probably the best thing that could have happened! Both artists are extremely talented and so friendly! Nick did my tattoo and he’s very personable and kind. They also offered beverages and snacks which was so nice! Nick’s attention to detail is unmatched. I’ve never had an artist care so much about every little detail and on top of that he was so gentle. I’m SO happy with my results and can’t wait to go back for more!

So I have been on the hunt recently for a tattoo artist. I’m not sure for you all but for me it was kind of a big deal deciding who to let leave permanent art on my body for the rest of my life and I needed the right artist. I had been searching the stl tattoo scene for awhile and I came across Nick at Crimson Dove, he had a last minute appointment pop up and I figured let’s give it ago. I’ve seen his work and loved it and he looked like a talented artist. I had never been to the shop and I was skeptical at first asking myself, “Did I just give my deposit to a tattoo shop that when I see it I immediately want to walk out. ” So Anyways I gave it a go and I walked into the shop and my first impressions of the shop were great, the shop was clean, floors were clean, art work on the walls done by Nick was very impressing, work stations were organized and clean, he had a little mini fridge full of water and other drinks such as soda and liquid death’s complimentary to people getting work done as well as small snacks. So I sat down and Nick immediately handed me a sheet to fill out and so I filled it out and grabbed a water and sat back as he drew what I wanted up. As I was sitting there I then noticed the Tv was playing a Dave Chappelle stand up and I was like yep this is the place for me. We went through the tattoo process and Nick and I talked the whole time and it just all felt comfortable. It was a pleasuring meeting Nick and the art work he left on me and beyond impressive and I couldn’t be happier, so much so I already have another appointment booked in a month to continue on the sleeve. So with out a doubt I recommend Nick, Owner at Crimson Dove Tattoo Shop. Thanks Nick.

I didn’t have an appointment but was so lucky to catch Nick in between customers. I wanted a smallish line tattoo on my neck. He did exactly what I wanted. Thrilled! Highly recommended his shop.

Nick, listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions that helped make my whole arm tattoo look like it belongs in an Italian Art museum. His art work showed my travels around the world and the experiences that I had while serving 20 years in the US Navy as a Chief. I would highly recommend Nick. I will be returning to Crimson Dove for more artwork.

I just love Nick. He has such a calming presence and a light hand! He always makes me feel comfortable and provides snacks, music and movies! He always gets my vision and I love all of my tattoos that he has done. I can’t wait for my next one!

Yep. Found my new tattoo home. First thing I look at when entering a shop is how clean it is. Which it was fantastic. The artist offered drinks, snacks, and my ultimate fav—chocolate! He has a big screen tv as well for you to watch during your session. It felt comfortable! The tattoo itself, was absolutely AMAZING! His work is the best I’ve ever seen, and he took what I wanted and made it a million times better than I thought he could. I have already gotten a few friends interested in calling him— my husband who is a real stickler when it comes to tattoos (as everyone should be) saw it and immediately got excited with how well the work had been done! He is also thinking of his next tattoo as well and is interested in booking. Super happy with this experience and cannot wait to get another one done by him
