Current river inn, Van Buren MO

It's a nice place. It's an older establishment. The room was clean and neat. It was warm and comfortable. We were just there overnight. The lady at rhe desk was very friendly and sweet. It was a good stay.

Very old and outdated. It’s a very old tiny motel. The smell of the room was overwhelming with an automatic air freshener. A noisy window unit. The bed was like sleeping on box springs. I would definitely drive further for a cleaner nicer room.

It's in town looks rough but it was quite a little crowded they had a deodorizer for the room above the interance and it sprayed over the bed all night long very annoying but the room was clean except the tub it had a bar of soap in the drain.it makes you wonder?

This one is more by taste, we loved it. Old motor inn painted with necessary upgrades and clean. If you want luxury and perfection don't go here. If you want comfortable, friendly, personable, off the noisy area and feeling safe. Pull right up to the door

Came in later- around 10p. I was given room 101 which was a quaint, cute little room with a bed, table, and TV. The bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as I laid down. The owner is amazing. She was quick to assist me with my questions- and requests. I will be back with my wife whenever possible. Thank you so much for being so accommodating.

At first glance your thought is "oh boy" - and not in a good way. Then you check in, get your old fashioned door key, and walk in to a clean, very well maintained room. The bed was a little stiff, but you can't please everyone. Not a lot of creature comforts in a town of 750, but it is the perfect place to bed down for the night.

The owner was kind enough to accommodate a lost traveler hours after closing. What a blessing she was. Everything about this place is great and welcoming, and you couldn’t ask for better service.

I've stayed at some brand name hotels this trip and by far the Current River Inn has been our favorite! Rooms are cute and clean' quiet & comfortable. The pool is clean I with floaties and diving toys. The temperature is nice too! Granddaughters loved it! Friendly staff. Playground.

Check out the suites fantastic room size and amenities if your bringing the whole family. Friendly staff and a very comfortable stay!

Was not fancy but was very clean. The staff was very freindly. Nice place to stay and affordable. Had a good stay.

This motel was convenient to everything.the office staff was fantastic. The pool was unbelievable and it was open all nite as long as you wasn't being loud and disturbing anyone. Cute little restaurant next door but we didn't eat there. The motel provides a grille so we grilled 2 nites we were there. Met alot of super ppl from tennessee and mississipp and made new friends. We will definitely stay here again.

Folks.it's not the Taj Meehal. This place is perfect for what it is. "A clean place to lay your head". The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Most people that visit this area are here for float trips. The Current Inn even has a nice pool and a Restaurant. The motel looks a little rough on outside as it's been around since the 50s but the interiors are nice.

Got stuck on the side of the road when my car died, 4 hours from home. They went above and beyond to help us out, the owner stopped and checked on us and the tow driver was super! Not only did he take us to our hotel and made sure we had a room for the night but also made sure we knew where to go for food and anything else we need for the night! Thank you guys so so much!

The staff is very friendly it is an older Hotel lightly high priced but they make up for it in making you feel welcome

Really Nice Roadside Motel

The first thing you'll notice is how pretty it looks on the outside. In front of all the units are benches or chairs plus small tables. Inside, the unit is decorated by someone who cares about their guests. Comfortable bed, armchair, microwave, and refrigerator make your stay a great place to relax. The bathroom is clean and bright, nicely renovated. The Television works well, although there are no major cable stations. However, there are plenty of good channels to choose from.

Charlotte and Donna made me feel like a family member they were actually happy to see.

I was having major Rheumatoid flare-ups, and didn't even think to take pictures. I also wasn't up to eating in the restaurant so the Convenience Store just across the road had a wide selection of Hot and Cold meal items for takeout, making it easy to eat in my room.
