CVS Health Distribution Center, Kansas City MO

Everytime I've ordered items from Wellcare insurance, the order is handled and shipped from CVS warehouse at 40711 N Congress ave, Kansas City MO.
Each time items are shipped in plastic shipping bag, with NO padding NO separation and always beat up.
The last order.warehouse order #631604306 had half a dozen items. Again shipped in plastic shipping bag with no padding, no separation of items. And liquid (shampoo bottle) not taped to prevent opening or sealed separately in an individual plastic bag. As items bounced around freely in shipping, shampoo snap close cap came loose, and my shipping container and EVERYTHING in it was soaked and covered in shampoo.
Items should have been in a box.
Items should have been separated
Items should have been surrounded by shipping padding of some sort!
Warehouse personal need retraining.
Note:
Customer service is reordering and sending new bottle of shampoo.

As always, good experience! Fast unloading, huge place, you have plenty of room to back in, it takes about 2 hr to get unloaded, You have to be at the gate no more than 5 minutes earlier, if you get to the gate 10 minutes before your schedule appointment, they will ask you to turn around and park on the street, even if it's just for 5 minutes, so you can park on the street until your appointment time then check in at the gate, they will direct you where to go, the shipping receiving office is in the center of the warehouse, you'll see a big red sign take your paperwork and they will assign a door, there's a vending machine inside shipping receiving office and Restroom

So this place is one of the best DC’s I’ve ever delivered to courteous, friendly straight to a doc and unloaded immediately! In and out 40 minutes there, employee contact was really great! Thanks CVS for making my Friday great! Will deliver here anytime just — fyi you can’t be early 5 min max

Great Place to Work and it's climate controlled and The Supervisors and Managers are Pretty Understanding and Straight forward. If You're looking for a job this is one place I would highly recommend!

I have not set foot in a CVS store locally for years due to very bad experience (s) with prescriptions. But this is about distribution. My HMO offers a certain $$ amount of goods from CVS each quarter. Everything good for awhile. If an order shipped minus some items, I always got an email stating such, which items and that they would ship when in stock. My last order? Email confirming shipment. No indication of missing items. Waited. Missing goods when it arrived. Weeks later got a notice that (another) shipment was on the way. Per my order, still missing good (s). Second shipment arrived. See pic. No padding inside. Box too large. Contents damaged, and was only one when was supposed to be two. Tried to contact. All #'s were totally automated, meaning NO offer to contact a human or a menu item for damaged goods. Contacted my HMO. They said to take to local store. See opening statement. Told my I have decided I have had enough frustration with CVS! Period! This is not a benefit when it can't be fulfilled. The large drugstore chains have been complaining about theft losses for a while now. Perhaps they need to look internally.

I actually love working here. There are a few things the company could work on but what company doesn’t. They help me when questions arise pertaining to my job title, they have small events at times, they do activities throughout the year that everyone can participate in. There have been a few drives for those less fortunate… I just like it there and this is just my opinion and my experience working there. As with any job it is what you make it.

This place is getting better, fast unloading, nice staff, the security guard was full of young people doing a good job. The little boy is super gentle and the receiving lady is really clear and soft. I arrived at the time and got a dock door inmidiately.

My wife spent $500 on an order and when it arrived the packaging was terrible. All the items were not secure at all. The packing bubbles weren't even inflated. Some lancers for diabetic's testing were open and insect spray was also spilled. I work for a fulfillment company as a lead and this packaging was very unprofessional. Someone should have been more considerate order# 0600009181087 delivered from Kansas City Mo to Memphis TN.

Delivered food from doordash to an Allied Universal security officer here. (KIOME, M) She lied to doordash and said food was never delivered. She had to buzz me in the gate to let me in. I also worked for allied. We even chatted about working the same security company. She caused me to get a false violation with doordash. I wonder what else she lies about and steals. Is this the kind of people you want working for a reputable company?

Don't come here even a second early they will turn you out local parking is a joke the crew although polite showed up on the short bus and are not allowed outside without a helmet on

I came little early for my delivery but the security guard is not allowing me to go in. I requested to use the restroom but still he said no. Very sad.

The ladies in the receiving office are very friendly and kind. Arrived at appt time. Immediately assigned to a dock door and unloaded within 1.5 hrs. I did have a lumper fee. Overall outstanding experience. Very clean restroom

Nice people lady in the office is so kind. The staff unload my truck in about 1 hour.good job.

Don't deliver Doordash to the parking lot security that control the gates (specifically Johnell). This thug will report "never receiving food". Basically, the only thing not received was a tip. If you can't afford the services, please don't. If he is this dishonest over a $10 meal just think what else is going on.

Don't work here! Don't apply! Don't try! Don't ask! I worked here for almost a year and a half and got fired for being late too many times. I was never more than 5 minutes late each time and some of them were due to family health problems. I tried to stay late to make up for it each and EVERY SINGLE time, but apparently that doesn't matter.being late! And never more than 5 minutes! They want to drop a hard working and flexible employee over 1 hr that I worked hard and stayed late to recover from.then it's not worth being here for. Find work elsewhere!

Driver service at the highest level, unloaded in 40 minutes.the girl in the office really has a beautiful smile.

I placed an order on November 9th 2022 I never received my order on December 1st I called they told me that they delivered my package do the US Post Office I called the post office they had no recollection of ever receiving a package I explained that to the person at CVS who could care less they are thieves they take your order collect the money and never send anything when you call them up they try to give you the runaround and tell you that you have to send them documented proof of why you did not receive your package before they can issue you a refund which everything is done over the phone all they do is steal your money they are thieves
