CVS Pharmacy reviews
6I don't love any of these pharmacy based quickie stores but I'll take CVS over Walgreens any day. I am particularly impressed that CVS gave up cigarette sales before states began banning them from pharmacies. Good on them. I had to pop into this one for some Dentemp. The store was clean and well organized. The silly maze they make you go through to get to the register is a bit off putting but the employee was adequate and got me out of there. The entry doors are automatic and there are no barriers to entry. The aisles are plenty wide so navigating them is not an issue.
I have to call every month to ask them to fill one of my prescriptions (even though my script is good for 3 months and isn’t that that same thing as doing it on the app?) However, I end up having to drive to the pharmacy to ask them because every time
I call I only have the option to learn more about COVID. Can’t actually get anyone on the phone.
This pharmacy is so bad I have started to avoid even getting my prescriptions. Usually takes me multiple trips at 45-60 minutes each to get one order with multiple prescriptions. They are frequently out of medications delaying things. They can almost never fill orders same day making it very difficult to get post op pain meds. They refuse to take prescription discount coupons 9 times out of 10. If they do take one they have to rerun the prescription and will ask you to come back in 10-20 minutes.
Free Covid Booster and Flu Shots. Plenty of Appointments available online
The folks who work here are friendly and helpful. I always feel like they genuinely enjoy visiting with their customers, and they are able to answer any question I ask.
Today I got my COVID booster and my flu shot, and members of the pharmacy staff helped me get my vaccine card updated, gave me a $5 coupon just for getting vaccinated, and helped me feel better about being a clumsy forgetful mess this morning. (Third shift is HARD.)
I will continue to use this as my pharmacy as long as it remains an option.
