Typical classic car dealer. Fluffed up pictures and description. You need to go inspect the the car in person. These people are pros at buying certain types of cars they know will sell from auction outlets, like Mecum. They then flip them for an approximately 50% profit. A quick shine and new tires and suddenly it's an investment piece. Be a smart shopper. With the internet, no need to hand all your hard earned money to a middle man.

I had smooth, pain free sales process but after the sale communication dropped off and it took two & a half weeks to receive the car. I had to follow up with no word on a delivery date or that I had to pay a transport fee until the day the car actually arrived at my doorstep. On a $120k car I would have expected a bit more high end service with much better communication. I hope they do better next time.

They did some body work on my car. Was the best job ever. Very happy with the results. Great Company!

As a very amateur classic car collector, when I discovered the rare, elegant 1979 Buick Regal online, I thought “yeah, this is an awesome car, but when compared to the high-end imports they also are showcasing—I’m small potatoes. ”

I couldn’t have been more wrong. This dealership has classic car inventory both import and American for all budgets, styles, and tastes. I prefer muscle cars/coupes from the early/late 70s and early/mid 80s. They had exactly what I was looking for.

Dealt the sales manager John Sherman and the transaction was smooth and easy. A little wheeling and dealing, an independent inspection, they fixed what little needed repair no questions asked—and the car arrived a day or two after I paid the balance.

I cannot recommend Daniel Schmitt dealership enough. John Sherman answered every question (and I had tons!), made every accommodation, showed patience and quick responsiveness, and simply got the job done in a professional and courteous manner. He’s the real deal.

Keep me in your Rolodex for that Monte Carlo of my dreams down the road, John. Let’s do this again.

Five-star car buying experience for me.

It is very important that if you buy a car from this company that you go and look at the car physically. I made the mistake of buying an antique car that I was told had won a Concours D’Elegance, and had been completely remodeled and restored. It took them three months to ship me the car, but it is never run properly and I’ve had nothing but problems with it. Unfortunately, I bought it as is which I guess you have to if you buy an old car.

Buyer beware…!

Purchased a 1982 Rolls Royce Cornice convertible a number of years ago. The photos looked absolutely fantastic, however the car had many issues unknown to me which is probably my own fault for not inspecting the vehicle prior to purchase. I have invested more in repairs than I paid for the car. The biggest concern was that there was a severe crack in the fuel tank which was leaking into the rear seat and trunk, had to remove fuel tank and repair. I had to rebuild the entire electrical system as well as the hydraulic system, windshield gasket brakes air conditioning system.
I’ve been in the retail business my entire life and I’m not usually a complainer.
I must say BUYERS BE AWARE!

Pretty cool classic car store. Drove all the way up from Texas to pick up a 1975 Datsun 280z purchased from them and was amazed at the selection and the quality of their classic cars.
I didn't get to go inside because I arrived after hours but you can still pretty much see all their inventory through the beautiful glass buildings. Thanks guys for hanging out an extra hour and a half in order for me to pick up my vehicle.

Called for two weeks straight. No salesman available, owners at funeral, owners out of town, and Never once returned phone calls!

I'M 73 YRS OLD AND HAVE OWNED OVER 50 COLLECTOR/CLASSIC CARS IN MY DAY, AND CURRENTLY HAVE SEVEN. I'M VERY PICKY AS TO THE QUALITY OF MY CARS. IT'S RARE THAT I PURCHASE A CAR SITE UNSEEN. I JUST TOOK DELIVERY OF A BMW 3.0CS WITHOUT FIRST SEEING IT. JOHN SHERMAN AND THE OWNER, DANIEL SCHMITT WERE BOTH VERY FORTHCOMING ABOUT THE CAR'S CONDITION. THEY WERE QUICK TO SUGGEST A FEW THINGS THAT I MIGHT WANT TO DO TO BRING IT TO MY STANDARDS, AND HELPED GET THAT DONE BEFORE DELIVERY. WHEN THE CAR WAS DELIVERED TO ME I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE THAT, IF ANYTHING, THE CAR WAS MUCH BETTER THAN WAS DESCRIBED. AS A VERY CRITICAL OWNER I DO NOT HESITATE IN RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY AND JOHN SHERMAN.
