I've been going to Dan for years and make the drive all the way from Lawrence now that he's in KC. I've been to barbershops around the world and Dan always gives me the best cut. The new space is awesome: single chair and mildreds outdoor patio (plenty of room). Dan also takes the highest precautions given our current situation. You won't find a better barber in the city.

Dan is a lovable dork. Get him talking about TV shows that's when he's at his goofiest, it's a hoot. It really is a great haircut and very affordable.

When it comes to fine barbering, Dan is the man! Very detailed, excellent quality and value - when you get a cut here you get 100% every time. Dan’s the best, you can’t leave here without a smile on your face. Every time I go to the shop I get the best haircut I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and give him a call!

I’ve traveled from all over the countryside to get snipped by this fella.best I’ve ever had, haven’t been to the new location yet but it looks amazing from the photos and videos I’ve seen. Dan one time was in a foot race to run a 5k and accidentally ran a marathon (i think he won too). You’re missing a world class experience if you haven’t been under his blades.

The location is new but Dan's been cutting hair in downtown Lawrence for years. Amazing person, awesome haircut, and he carries some of the best hair products that you cannot buy in stores. Dan is one of the best barbers I have ever met. He’s friendly, detailed in his work and genuinely cares about you, the customer. He remembers your name and details about you as a person. I have been getting my hair cut by Dan for nearly 4 years now and have never gotten anything but the freshest fade and beard lineup (honestly every time it looks like his best cut yet). It looks natural almost like the beard grew in on it's own without the straight unnatural lines you see from a lot of barbers and the fade is clean and tight and the hair on top is always cut right without any weird short or long parts. If fades aren't your thing, I have also seen Dan cut other styles of hair as well and every customer leaving before me looks great. On top of that Dan is a really good dude and a great person to talk to for 30 minutes, from sports to random science to space to outside hobbies to just how life has been, you name it and the man can carry a conversation. If I could give more stars I would, book a cut and I promise you won't regret it!
