Das Stein Haus reviews
18The coolest little place! Full of neat stuff and delicious German food! The owner showed us around and talked about the decor he'd gotten. Strongly recommended.
Outstanding food, our waitress was incredible. Definitely a hidden gem. Best Damn beer since my time in Germany!
Excellent experience. Small, Friendly, clean, unique and the food. Damn good. We will be back. We loved everything from the butter to the carrot cake.
First time earing here. The food was wonderful. The service was great. Will be back to r
Try something different on the menu.
If you're looking for authentic German food, and a cozy atmosphere look no further.
I have to note, while the dining side is cozy, the bar side was quite energetic and even had karaoke when we visited.
Family owned and the owner operated is the sweetest older German man. I had it all and it was authentic German food. Wonderful ambiance and better food. You be an idiot not to eat here and not leave 5 stars.
The standout part of eating here is the cool atmosphere with extensive German decorations in small cozy rooms. I had the Touch of Germany to try some different things and was not that impressed. Another member of my party got the Beef Rouladen and it was better than mine. Overall I was slightly disappointed by the food for the price.
Absolutely amazing food and service. My business partner and I both each had the German sampler and shared a bottle of Cab. Every bit of the food was delicious and the waitress (blonde) was outstanding. The owner Helmut greeted us at the door and came by at the end of our meal. Will be back when we’re back.
This little place is amazing. The owner is a little old man who still cooks all the food. It is traditional German food and it is amazing. The prices are great and the entire staff is super friendly. Will definitely be going back.
We found this little hidden gem today and am I glad we did. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is awesome, and the service is excellent! We will be back when we are in town on business again and again!
We enjoyed the beef rouladen and A Taste of Germany, cherries jubilee and black forest cake. The service was outstanding. The food was exceptional, even the salad dressing is made in house. The owner brought us complimentary orange curacao liquor from Amsterdam after dinner, a tradition at this restaurant. Was a very nice as well as welcome surprise. Will definitely be returning next time we're in town.
Excellent loved this little Gem I recommend this restaurant the best I've ever been too! The food was amazing I had a little bit of everything on German platter.
The food was authentic German food. Me and my dad had the taste of Germany. First the salad with the ranch dressing was fresh and homemade.then the sauces with the meat was delicious. Was sad to see it go. Staff was courteous and polite. The owner Helmut cane and introduced himself and said they been in the area for forty years. Definately would recommend and go back here.
The most exquisite cuisine and service! I highly recommend. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Really nice ambiance and the food was delicious. I had stuffed shrimp! The owner was very sweet. It was karaoke night and a lot of fun!
We had a great meal, delicious beer from Germany. Fun atmosphere and great waitstaff. They even gave a complimentary shot at the end of the meal.
The man at the counter was extremely rude. I got ignored for about 5 minutes standing at the counter waiting to pick up my to go order. Then the man proceeded to tell me that he can’t make my order. Then the manager said he won’t make the order either.
Tried to go here on a Tuesday night at 7pm. Hours posted claimed they were open. Arrived and lights were off, door was locked. Called the phone number and listened to the recording. Listed the business hours as being during the time I was outside the restaurant. Nothing was posted to explain the business being closed. Huge disappointment as a friend drove from out of town to meet and have dinner
